This was purchased as a gift. I will let you all know what my grandson thinks of it and his father as soon as I hear from them. I was impressed with the timely manner in which it was delivered and also, the box was not torn this time.

Radios can reach long range and not staticky. As far as the value, I got these on sale, so it made it much more worth picking them up.

this radio set is great for its intended use, but not so great for playing with a 5 year old. Its too easy to switch channels, turn on weather station, or push the call button which makes it hard for a kid to change back the settings. I probably should have bought something more simple for my purpose.

Overall a great item. Once you learn how to use the buttons and lock feature, easy operation. Very reliable and had no issues.

Used these on a cross country move with my wife in one car and me in the other so that we did not have to use our cell phones the whole time. The range is really well some points they worked over 28 miles and some times due to terrain we did not get the 28 miles range.

REALLY GOTTA APPLY PRESSURE ON BUTTONS. ONLY GET A MILE IF IM LUCKY IN THE CITY.

The radios worked really well, but you can't use them on high power because of the stupid FCC laws. They should include a license voucher in the package so you can get the license and use the radio to its full potential.

Great for the kids. Enough range to suit our needs. Purchased at "deal of the day" pricing so made it an even sweeter deal. Haven't clocked "use" time as of this writing but have lasted long enough for the children's needs.

Convenient battery charging. Works well in a Manhattan office tower. Would recommend to another. Very reliable

I bought this for my 10 yr old nephew who loves it. It works fine within approx. 5 miles but is no where close to the 28 miles. However, considering the sale price, it was a good value.

We could not hear each other at all at 2 miles. We were traveling, each driving a vehicle so we needed to be able to keep in touch.
