    I took these to Arches National Park and was not terribly impressed with the performance. Maybe the terrain is to blame, but if we were more than 1 mile apart, we could not hear each other. It's also difficult to understand what the other person is saying. We were often repeating ourselves and speaking slowly.

    Product was defective and returned. Battery cover could not be connected May need to get a stronger one due to distance needed. I am now looking for further options now will visit the store for other options

    The manufacturers should do a better job of setting expectations. These were purchase for my 8 year old son. I drove about 1/2 a mile and the connection was already static. It is my understanding that there are many factors that impact the range, especially in the city. But come on! From my house to about 5 blocks from the park already a problem. Maybe we will have better luck when camping
