I liked it, since it has worked great for me jump starting my car at least five times after once fully charged. Now i changed my car battery, but i will keep using as a portable charger for USB based devices and it could be used to jump start car at any emergency situation. It is really worthy, especially with such reasonable price.

Ok folks, I read a lot of either "this is amazing" or "forget it, doesn't work" reviews before buying. They were all either one way or the other; not too many in between. Here's my take, simply because I've been doing this for 20+ years. It will certainly charge mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc); the biggest back and forth is on jump starting a vehicle. Here are the facts: the bigger the enginee (4, V6, V8, etc) the more torque needed to start, which means, basically, more juice. Does that matter a lot? Nope, not really. Your car's battery just provides that initial "jump start" to get things moving, then the alternator takes over and does most of it (including charging your batter while the engine is running), so what you need is that initial push from the battery to roll the proverbial ball down the hill. This guy would conceivably work fine on a mythical V100 engine. But here's a simple fact - batteries are just chemistry; they are a reaction that creates energy. We always say "can you give me jump, my battery's dead". If it's really dead, meaning not capable of causing that charge-generating reaction, nothing will start your car except jumper cables. And even, it's not a "jump"; you are using the other person's batter to start your car until the alternator takes over. If your car's battery is just drained and needs some help, you will be fine; this unit will seem like a savior. The short version is: the quality of this unit is durable and very good; the state of the car battery is the deciding factor, not the brand, and not even the mAh (output) of the unit. This unit is more peace of mind for a vehicle than anything else; but i just wanted to throw out the reason for all the "one extreme or the other" reviews we've all been seeing.

The battery is perfectly capable of jumping off your vehicle but it's very important to follow the instructions. Great for charging cell phones and laptops on the go as well. Would be four stars if it came with a case or bag.

I bought this because my battery in my car was on the fritz and I had needed to have something in which I need to jump the car in case of emergency. Unfortunately my emergency happened everyday for about two weeks before I can take my car in. It saved my butt over and over and over again. Good saved my butt over and over and over again when you charge it it doesn't kill the entire charge that stored on the device so you can actually use it multiple times to just get the jump. When you get out of the package it already is charged to about 50% so just make sure you take it in the first night and get a full charge. If you want to leave it on there after you jump it and get it started I guess you can but it's really just as simple as putting on the black one putting on the red one and pressing the big button in the middle. Once that light is on you can go in the car and it'll just turn right on. Well the best purchase I've ever made plus I got it at a as a discount and my Best Buy so it might be on clearance at your Best Buy as well.

My large & heavy 20 year old + battery jumper went south. After reviewing the jumpack and looking at it in your store I purchased it. Although I haven't needed it to jump start a car, it looks and feels like a high quality piece of equiptment. I have charged my IOS devices quickly and with ease. It's unbelievable how small it is compared to the dinosaur I had before and yet will do the same job.

Hard to find fault with a well-priced portable USB power pack and jumpstarter. Comes with a nice set of accessories - a 12V charger cord as well as a USB to microUSB cable, in addition to the expected battery connection to powerpack proprietary cable (which has a visible, integrated fuse.) Charged my Android phone without any drama. Have yet to try out the jumpstart capability but looks sufficiently beefy to jump a four-banger or V6. The only way the whole package could be improved is by it coming with a case to hold everything, but it'd only add to the cost of goods. Overall, a great gadget that could save your bacon when your car or bike batteries let you down. Cheap insurance!

I purchased this thing on a whim, My battery was dead and I needed something to get it moving since it just wouldnt take the jump from another car. I got it home and charged it for a few hours. When i walked outside my car was so dead i couldnt even remotely unlock it and had to use my key. I put this on and it started right up. When i got to the garage they told me my battery was completely shot. This saved me towing fees!

Great -started a '98 Dg.Ram p-up w/totally dead battery that had sat for over 2 months -and did so again twice more as I killed it accidentally. On same charge it fully recharged 2 cellphones, and one smartphone. If I could buy more for gifts I would (great sale!!) -but no longer available. Now a newer model, NOT on sale... You HAVE TO READ and follow the instructions -including connection sequences. For once, the instructions are correct!

I found my car battery dead on a recent cold snowy morning. I had to go to work all my neighbors were still sleep. I had never jumped a battery before but this device was easy to use and I didn't need another car. This device started my car and I avoided a potential 2 hour wait for AAA.

It's hard to imagine that this little battery can breathe life back into a dead car battery but it does it! Truly amazing. Keep this handy charger near by to provide instant back power to any USB device but must importantly keep it handy to jump start your car this winter.

This cobra jump starter pack is wonderful, holds a charge for a long time and does the trick for jump starting the car . Definitely worth the money . Left it in my car for a long time without charging , my friend needed a jump pulled it out and it worked .

just happened to see it on shelf and I've been looking for one, so it worked out well. took a long time to charge which tells me it should have a good usable charge to use when needed. should work well in spring when my friends borrow jumper cable for their lawn mowers. hope I really don't have to use it, but have it if needed.

I had a similar device that was recalled by an online vendor because some copies were associated with fires. My experience with that one was entirely positive and worked a couple of times for me and I helped two other drivers successfully. I have every reason to believe that this one will be well worth the price.

It jump started my car with a completely dead battery. (1999 Toyota Camry) Absolutely amazing.

Great product for a technophobe. Have used it to charge mobile phone and as a flashlight. Hoping I won’t need to use it to jumpstart the car but it gives great peace of mind to know that I can if needed.

I was surprised how well it works for the size. Technology has come leaps and bounds from the 60s it almost unbelievable. I bought it to jump the cars for the retired people in my building.

It has worked each and every time. Remember if the car does not turn over the first time, wait a few seconds and try again. Also always make sure before use it is fully charged.
