I got this to replace a cobra I-Radar that was stolen from my vehicle. The alerts are not quite as loud as my previous radar detectors, but the text display helps to notice the alerts when you are listening to loud music. The size is perfect for mounting behind my mirror, are there are much less false alerts than I expected from a mid-grade detector.

Has saved me many times thus far from cop traps. Works well!

Works great. picked up all the police radar why traveling to South Carolina from NYC.

This is my first radar detector so I wasn't sure what to expect. It works great and there are minimal false alarms triggered by alarms from stores and banks, etc. I like that I can mute it when I don't want to hear it at times. It has definitely saved me from a few speeding tickets so far. The compact design makes it not distracting being in the window either, this was a concern of mine.

I don't see how I lived without a radar detector for as long as I did. This is a must. It has saved me on many occasions.

I recently traveled from Texas to Florida so I purchased this one, it detects cop before they detect you, unfortunately it has a lot of false alarm. But overall it did good on detections for a cheap price.

Both bands have functioned effectively so far. There is also some form of train track detection that was a surprise.

Its good. Only thing is when something is horizontal in the road, it recognizes it as a train. But good for the money

I'm impressed with the way this picks up the radar way ahead when the officer just zaps his radar gun toward a car far in front of us. It gives us plenty of lead time to check our odometer to make sure we're not going too fast.

The radar detector is great except for the train alert that goes of and no train in sight.

I had an older Cobra radar detector that suddenly stopped working, so I figured it was time to update and upgrade. This unit works quite well, and seems more sensitive than my old one. The speaking function takes a little getting used to, and for some reason it tells me a train is approaching at a certain section of highway not anywhere near train tracks, but otherwise I am pleased so far.

I have recently purchased this product and I liked it very much. Considering the prize which is not that high I will defiantly recommend it. It alarms before even more than mile distance and it saved me many times since I bought this 2 months back.

I bought this because of the name brand and sale price, days before I left for a 3,000 mile road trip. I figured the chances of me getting a speeding ticket during this trip was high, since I intended to go 80 the entire time. I'd say it paid for itself during this trip, giving me notification of KA band momments before passing a police car hiding. In my experience there's a ton of factors on how soon you may get a buzz before approaching a cop. Sometimes I got very little time to smash on the brakes, and other times I'd have a mile or so. Sometimes you must understand how police radars work and how a detector works, when you get lasered by a cop and the detector goes crazy and screams laser, it's too late...they already got you. NO DETECTOR can stop this unless it jams the cops laser and that's likely illegal. so yes I did get lasered once going 80 in a 70 but the stop didn't stop me. This thing is to prevent tickets, not stop them. I always call myself an educated speeder, or speed with caution. I have been driving for 10 years and I have yet to receive a speeding ticket. One thing I hate about this thing is the TRAIN notification that others are saying, it was extremely annoying but I can live with it as it doesn't go off much around my home town. you can't turn that off either or silent it like the X band. For some this feature might completely ruin the radar if it goes off a lot on your daily commute and I wouldn't blame you for that. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to.

I replaced the old detector I had with this one. It works but occasionally suggests a train is approaching - when none are in evidence. I'm Ok with the detector, but this happens too frequently. I have to find and adjust settings to eliminate this false signal, I guess...

Great product but seems sensitive. Getting many false alerts. " Train is coming" when no tracks for 20 miles ? Overall easy and voice alerts is nice. Still learning. Volume control good. Many features and would recommend.

This radar detector was on sale and it seems to work fine.

Works just fine. Other reviews mentioned it would give false train alerts, that has only happened once and I've had mine two months. The connecter cord is too short to teach from my cars plug in though.
