It worked great on my road trip from Texas to Florida.

I like this detector it serves its purpose when police are in range. The only drawback is when your driving it alerts you about a TRAIN maybe its picking up unknown signals. Overall its a pretty good radar.

Fairly priced. Easy to operate. Seems to be very accurate at a mile or so range. Do not like the "coiled " power supply cord. Puts too much pressure on the detector and tries to pull away from windshield. Bought another cord without the coils.

I bought this radar detector to replace my Passport 8500 which was stolen out of my vehicle. It is approximately $150 less expensive than the Passport, which is why I decided to try it out. It works, but there are some personal preference issues which I will list. The Passport has a red display screen, which is easy to see while driving. The Cobra's display is a timid, dilute shade of green that is difficult to see. The Passport placed its Mute button on the charger, which is easy to reach. Cobra, in their infinite wisdom, placed the Mute button ON TOP of the actual unit....so if I want to mute it, I have to reach across my dashboard to do so. Passport also gave the mute button absolute silence, Cobra WILL NOT SHUT UP even when I reach across my dash to use the mute button. Cobra's mute button is purely decorative. If you enjoy driving around with a woman who has an annoying monotone voice that won't be quiet no matter what you do....Cobra is your radar detector. As for me, I'll be buying a Passport and putting my Cobra where it belongs.....the trash.

This radar detector works great and rarely gives false notifications. It alerts you when a laser is being pointed at the vehicle and always alerts to police near by. It has 360° view so it can detect radars behind you.

My 3rd Cobra radar detector. Great price looks good and responds fast. Con: lots of false alarms in city.

For the price it gets the job done. The next step up in quality was over a hundred dollars more expensive. To get a few more bells and whistles in my opinion is not worth it.

The digital data display and voice alert function are very helpful features. I'm very satisfied with this detector and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality radar/laser detector.

It does its job and it works ok. Depends on what your looking for. There are more expensive models that get a little more detection distance. No radar detector is going to guarantee you not to get pulled over.

Overall this product will help you avoid radar traps, however if your music is loud you won't be able to hear it and if you're in a strip mall you should just turn it off. It will annoy you.

So far so good for 2 months. Better than my old one (cobra that lasted over 6 years). Good for the price. As other have stated, train warning when no trains!

Good detector for the money. Doesn't go off for every non police radar. Very easy to use.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it! It has saved him several times. It doesn't do so well in the city. The sensors above sliding doors will set it off sometimes. It does great for long distance driving, and picks up over a mile away! Great investment.

This is a good radar detector. I have been using it in city and interstate travels. I like the ease of use, haven't got a ticket yet.

Its not the best but works better than most. If you can get it for $100 or less you got a deal. I bought it for $89 on sale, reg. $139.

Went to ga and back it worked like it should .sometimes it would beep when nothing was there but overall it was a good decision.

I used this device on a recent road trip. There was a lot of constructor radar signs. It gave far enough time to slow down.

I bought two of these for presents for my husband and son who need them. My husband had an older model of Cobra and thought he should get an upgrade.

This radar detector works great and is inexpensive. The detected band announcement helps figure out what alerts are important and which are only "X" band
