The first time I heard the complete album I was a little disappointed after waiting so long for Dre to put out Detox, but after listening to this album again and again I remember how times have changed since 2001. This was worth the wait and if this is it from Dre and he never puts out another album it was a high note to go out on.

This project is one of the few solid efforts put out lately compared to the the garbage out now & compared to the other hip hop vets from his era that have dropped projects lately. I salute you!

I've been a fan for years and was anticipating Detox. When I heard it wasn't coming out, I figured what was coming would be better. Compton... is good in its own right but not my favorite.

This is a great album musically. An instrumental version of the album would be perfect. Lyrically though Dre was more modern and sounded like everyone else instead of himself.

As Dr. Dre usually gives us, this Album is masterfully produced. I wouldn't put it up there with his personal albums (The Chronic/Chronic 2001) but it's still a good album.

this was a good cd. dr dre acts like this is what he has been working on for the last 14 years, and I don't really believe him. But overall its a pretty good cd.

Fans of dr. dre will not be disappointed. The wait for detox was worth it. K dot Lamar makes numerous apperances along with Cube, cold187um, Game, Xzhibit, Snoop & MM. This album displays a mature dre' expressing insight on the current state of things, internally & externally.

Dre is back with a somewhat typical album; the beats are the best, he spotlights other artists and pops in from time to time to remind you how good he is.

This CD is a great collaboration of songs and so many great artists. It's new music by old school rappers still hype enough to appeal to all age groups.

After many years out of the game Dr Dre came back with the thunder in this album, I am one to believe that good rap is dead but Dre has brought it back

Dr. Dre doesn't miss a beat when it comes to production values. Not as great as 2001 or The Chronic but heads above a lot of hip hop and rap out today

Dr. Dre has been coming out with a new album seemingly forever. The soundtrack to Compton was worth the wait. Adult themes, adult lyrics.

I'm a huge Dr. Dre fan... Album was good but not what i am used to getting from Dre's beats! Features Eminem, snoop and Game to name a few!

Dre definitely has aged. Sounds different in flow & production. Solid album with new talent. Dont except that old G-Funk sound. 4-5 stars

I enjoyed this album. I thought it would be just as good as 2001. It is not quite as good, but still worth the money. Good listen

Just purchased and listen to the entire album and wasn't that impressed - expected much more from the next Dre album since 2001.

If you're looking for the something that sounds like the chronic or 2001, this isn't it. The beats aren't that traditional Dre sound, but still go hard. The features really make the album what it is. Great work by the Dre though

This isn't as good as the chronic, or even2001. If it really is dres last album it's a must have, that's why I got it

I love Dre! This album is a very fitting soundtrack to the Straight Outta Compton Movie. Any true fan will appreciate this album & the guest appearances of artists such as Kendrick Lamar will bring new fans to Dre's music.

Didn't live up to the hype but great music. Wide variety of other artist cameos. Dre very creative with production.
