I have HONDA PILOT but I did not took chance to get this remote starter installed

My key fob stopped working and after taking my car to Toyota, they told me it was something wrong with my ECU ($1400). After consulting my brother, he said it probably wasn't the ecu (due to no other problems) and suggested I buy this set if I just wanted to have remote door unlock. I got this and I'm pretty happy about it so far. The doors unlock remotely again and now I have a nifty remote starter. My only negative was that they say the trunk remote is an additional part/charge. Seems silly to me that a keyless set charges extra to use one of the included buttons. Also not a fan that they didn't tell me this upfront so now I have to bring my car back in after realizing the trunk button doesn't work. Other than that, I am a fan and even bought this set for my husband's car for Christmas.

I bought this product on a sale for less than half of its original price which includes geek squad installation. I can turn the car on from my office cubicle which will be more than 800-1000 ft away and I don't even have to walk to any corner of the building to turn it on. I had it installed on my Toyota Camry and it took about 3-4 hrs for the installation.

It starts the car perfectly so you have the whished conditions inside when you ride off.

I used since 2017 and never have a problem. I highly recommend this Compustar remote start.

I purchased this product while it was on special as the deal of the day at my local Best Buy store. The deal offered was amazing! I had it installed at Best Buy as well and they completed the installation quickly and professionally. The 2 way remote, with a 3000' range, is amazing. Love that I had the doors lock/unlock automatically, too. Very easy to use. I am very happy with this product.

I can't really knock the remote start, it did what it is designed to do. My installation was trash though. Only problem is that remote starts and Ford's Pat's systems don't play well together for very long. I had this remote start installed on my 2004 F150 in mid December 2017 by the geek squad. It started the truck 90% of the time. Everything seemed to be going well until about mid-late February 2018 where I started having no crank no start issues. Turns out my PATS was not jiving with something, couldn't even start the truck with the key. Come to find out it's very common to have Pat's issues when you have aftermarket remote starts and or alarms installed. So I uninstalled the remote start to see if my issue would go away. Which makes me regret having the system installed now. The factory wiring is cobbled up from the install. Strands of the factory wiring broken/cut from them cutting the insulation to expose the wire so they could wrap the remote start wire around the factory wire and just tape it up. I figured a professional installation would have included soldered connections. Guess I was wrong. They're all about the twist and tape at best buy. Anywho, so far so good with the unit uninstalled. Buyer beware if you're putting this in a Ford.

Not upgradeable to any other functions besides the remote start. Very disappointing.

i dont know why somebody will pay $739 plus tax(including installation) mean just for remote start?for this price it needed to have security feature also..remote is cheap looking with no lcd..not happy at all..would not recomend
