Haven't used this much as the winter cold isn't here just yet, but very happy so far. The installer was friendly and fast, gave a full walk through on features and made sure both included remotes worked. Even though brand new, one of the batteries needed to be changed which he did on the spot. I haven't tried it from long range yet, but from 100 or so feet, seems to work just fine. Unit plus install on the Deal of the Day under $200 . . . what a deal.

Nothing worse than getting in your car when the temp. outside is below 0 F. and freezing your &$% off...you know what I mean. Now with this remote starting system, no more freezing!! Lock you car, push the button and enjoy another cup of coffee. When you are ready to leave your car or truck is nice and warm!!!

I purchased this online and everything went as planned. My install was excellent and the Best Buy team was great on instructing me how the remote starter works. I've had the Compustar CS800-S-Kit now for about 3 weeks. I've already referred a friend to purchase it and she lives in another state. I love it!

It works as described and very happy with it. The range is much further than my other car's factory installed remote. My only issue is the I find the remote buttons get pressed when it is in my pocket. I have noticed my car running in the driveway or set the alarm off by accident.

This is my third CompuStar - Remote Start Kit from Best Buy. The Technicians have always installed the equipment correctly and the equipment worked very smoothly.

The remote is awesome for my car but I realized that some times I find the trunk opened without me starting the car or to touching the remote. It happen 3 time until now but I will check with geek squad again to see the problem, but so far it's doing great.

Has quite the range on it. Didn't know this one was a 1 way unit so it doesn't notify you if car has started or not, unless you can see your lights as it will turn park lights on when it has started. I have been having problems with my door locks 2 weeks after the install. My doors will lock with key in the ignition so I have to make sure to take then with me if I have to get out with it running. And now one great door won't lock and the other won't unlock which causes my horn to honk multiple times. Its embarrassing when I drop off Uber Riders and pick them up. They think I'm honking at them and they think I'm messing with them with the door locks. I'm taking my car back to best buy where it was installed to have them look at it. Also the spring under the hood broke a day after it was all installed. It was installed to high and the hood must have snapped it. All in all, I would recommend getting a remote start. Not sure if my problems are with this brand, model, or the install at the store.

Great basic remote start. Came with everything needed except a $5.00 material charge it was installed on a 2010 Ford F250.

Installation (by Geek Squad) went pretty smooth. I had one problem with it, told the install tech, and he fixed it right away! This a wonderful remote starter. Has all the bells and whistles that I need. And most important, it works great every time. I caught it on sale at a super price too!

I have this alarm on my 2007 Hummer H3 for about a week ,is working perfect I'm very happy with this product, I olso got the Drone Mobile for extra $100 now I can start my vehicle with my cell right from my bed I don't have to get up and go by my window to start my vehicle , is Amazing, AAA

This is the best product , Working everything perfect and nothing problem , I am very happy with this compustar company and got it wonderful deal. Don't run behind the brand name and spent lots of dollars , this is the best one too .

on The box said up to 1500 ft, its not true. distance probably like 500 ft. u can make it 2 way with drone mobile easily There's only 1 problem, sometimes at the 1st start it wont start. u have to do it twice.

This is an excellent product and very useful for those that live in cold environments. I have had this product installed and it starts up from very far away. I would recommend this product. I've also bought this with the bundle service that included the bestbuy installation.

I hate the cold and this remote start my family got me is awesome! No more freezing in a cold car waiting for it to warm up. I have had no issues yet in any way. Starts right up! Geek Squad installation was great!

I'm very happy with this purchase. The range for the remote start is great. I work in a building with quite a few computers, wireless devices etc...My coworkers have to go outside to use their factory installed remote starts. I can from desk use mine and it works!!!

This product is amazing!!!! Easy to use and so nice to have in the New England snow this year. Car is almost defrosted and nice and toasty coming out of work each night no matter how much snow is on it,

This product is very easy to use and you don't need a guide, very helpful in any weather, but in winter it's a got to have, nothing expensive, I have the same remote in another car, already 2 years and not any problem so far, and I it's lifetime warranty.

I just got this installed not too long ago and I like it buy I don't think the range is very far. And for some reason one I remote start it, I can't open the trunk with the remote.

I am very pleased with this remote starter. I got it as a daily deal so the price was less than half the original price and it included installation and most of the hardware. Also so far no problems.
