Overall the remote starter is pretty good. It has good range but the automatic headlight feature on my car is not working properly since installation. At times, the headlights stay on or turn back on after the car has been shut off and locked. I'm sure it's a simple fix and I plan on bringing it back to Best Buy soon for correction.

Be careful when buying this product. The remote starter itself is great. However, my salesman charged me the sales price plus parts needed, collected payment, then scheduled appointment. When I arrived for installation, I was instructed that he forgot about $50 worth of parts. Whatever, mistakes happen. What sucked was arriving a few hours later (after a call that my car was done) and finding out that the ENTIRE install shop has left to get lunch and I couldn't retrieve my vehicle until they get back. So I sat there for about 30 minutes until the returned. I realize this is a mild inconvenience in the grand scheme of things, but I was irritated by the fact that I was called then the entire staff decided to close shop to grab food. I would highly recommend the product and the installation quality, I would not recommend the customer service at this particular store.

This works for remote starting my 2010 Prius. I was told that it would replace my factory key fob, but that is not the case for my Prius. The Prius requires the factor fob to be inside the car in order to start the car and drive. If you do not already know, there is a security feature for the Prius that kills the engine if you remote start the car and then open any door or put your foot on the break. This may or may not also apply to your car.

I am new to remote starters in general but this one works better than my Traverse's remote starter and at a longer range unless you have OnStar. Works better than the Viper as well. Just be wise about the installation. The warranty can be voided if you don't get a CERTIFIED professional to install this item, I used the Geek Squad for the install.

Awesome remote starter. I leave my heated seat on and temperature control on auto. Car is toasty when I get in. Should work for A/C as well, I won't leave heated seat on in summer.

The product works great when within the designated distance. It took a while to figure how the buttons worked, but since have been pleased. I use this in conjunction with an app so I can control it from my phone. Highly recommend the added benefit of that!

Bought this system for a 2011 nissan. Installation took a little longer than expected, over 6 hours. The system has been great for those cold mornings. Love that it stays on for a long time over factory installed remote starts. Also like the option of being able to purchase various upgraded plans for security. Being able to start your car with a smart phone is awesome.

The remote start feature is great. Had some troubles with integration into the existing security feature of the Explorer but after trial and error (mostly errors) and a final trip back tò Best Buy install bay all the wrinkles were ironed out.

I got this for my husband as a gift. Best Buy had great, competitive pricing, and the install team was quick and thorough with explaining how to use it. It's been great to warm up our car in the frigid temps, while still keeping it locked and secured.

Works great.turns my car on from upstairs. Only con is it shut off after awhile that sucks when it's really cold outside n I need the extra time for the car to fully warm up. Other than that it's completely convenient.

Very happy with this purchase. The Turbo Timer for the diesel works excellent. It has a further remote range than a stock unit does (yes, it was tested). They even credited our account for a part that was not used but sold to us in the beginning. Works excellent! Happy camper.

Bought a new vehicle with the intent of installing a viper as we had in the old car. Sales rep discussed advantages of this unit and liked the price point so purchased this one.

I trust Bestbuy to handle all my installations. The technicians were very professional. They were able to schedule me in good time and completed the installation in a timely manner. This system has been working flawlessly since it was installed. The only thing I do not like about this system is that after the car starts, once I opened the door, the car will switch off. Bestbuy told me it is for security reason. I just find that weird about the system. It might be because my car is a push start and you do not have to manually insert the key as in my other cars. Again, during the winter, it keeps the car warm for me to get in and that is basically what I need remote start for.

I've wanted a remote starter for years and finally put one in my truck. The Compustar works perfect every time. The fobs seem to be good quality and the range is acceptable for my needs. The Best Buy installation went well with no issues at all.

Wonderful product don't know how I got along without it. Just press the key button and it's running. Very reliable would definitely purchase another one if my next vehicle wasn't equipped with one.

Great starter! I am over 1/2 mile away from my car and in a building where I can't see it and it has been working Great! Even through brick walls! Best Buy did a great job installing!

it works great. I only wish i had purchased a 2 way remote. There were instances where it didnt start my car(because of distance) and there was no way for me to know if it started. Otherwise it works great and it does what it is supposed to do.

This remote car starter was a gift from my kids. It is AWESOME. I was thinking of getting a less expensive model, but the installer pointed out the pros and cons. SO glad I listened and they did a great job on the install.
