I have been very hsppy with the system and the installation. The person that did the installation was awesome. I am very happy with the work done. The remote start is fantastic and really works up to a 1000 feet. The only downside is having to hit unlock multiple times for passenger doors to unlock.

Good purchase for price, I was told it would cost $600 to add a remote start to my car, this one was 1/3 that cost. The range on this unit is somewhat limited when compared to others I have owned.

This is a Isuzu (i have bought 3) NPR 2012. The Compustar company cannot find wiring chart to keep vehicle running. Its starts and turns off 3 times, the parking lights never come on and then it stops trying. Still waiting for Best Buy to find wiring chart. Other was a F-150.. works perfectly installed in Phoenix arizona. 3rd was a 2011 Ford Edge. Big issues with this one. They are dying to add to the "install included" price. First assumption is that the part is not in the box. (it is included). Was never told to bring 2 keys. Can not be programmed with only one key. Had to buy a new key at 200.00. This is all information that should be right up front in the ad. Also on the Edge installation. They would not even start without the "add on" code. The first 2 they never even asked and i never noticed that it was multiple emails. Cant it just be one email?

I always wanted a remote start on my Suburban but I thought they cost to much. I was able to get this one for a fair price and installation was included. I can't believe I waited so long to buy one.

So impressed that next time they had the sale. I bought another one for my girlfriend. Works great, no hidden fees, and no extra parts to buy.

I came across this product as part of best buys deal of the day. I spent a total of 200 plus tax on an item that was ordinarily 500. It took the technician approximately 4.5 hours to complete the installation which was much longer than comparable models of this type. If you dont mind the wait and can get a tech to install then this is the best deal on the market. I would however like to recommend the viper keyless remote as they have more features and are simply plug and play.

Got this for my wife for "Holiday" but it took us a while to schedule the (included on a "Deal of the Day" special!) installation. It did not require any extras except the tilt switch for the hood, and if you've priced replacement keys for the newer cars, not having to sacrifice one makes this a better value than less expensive units hands down. Two remotes is also a nice touch. Special kudos to the Rockford, IL Geek Squad tech. He did a great job, ½ hour sooner than promised, was polite, and showed how to use it to my technophobe wife. On "Big-Game Sunday", no less! Highly recommended!

This is perfect to use for winter time to start the jeep from inside so it warms up for use. I live in Texas, so I will be using it to cool down the inside of my jeep before getting in as well.

I am very happy with the starter. I have been able to warm my car about 5-7 minutes prior to getting in vehicle. I love it and recommend to others. My daughter is getting one too.

This thing works like a charm. It came with more parts and pieces than I needed. I have an older truck and I didn't need the immobilizer bypass. The price that I bought this at included the installation and it made it a great value. Especially when you consider that I can resell the bypass on ebay or craigslist.. The ability to start my car from inside my office building's third floor to anywhere in the parking lot is awesome. Even with all of the interference and competing signals in residential areas, it works awesome.

Good enough if you want basic remote start. Recommended only if you basic remote start. some Best buy will not install in the San Diego are, they'll only do Viper.

Great "Deal of the Day" package. The installation and extra bypass parts included, sweetened the deal ( heard stories of "extras" with some other packages.) We've always wanted a remote start for our 10 year old vehicle, and this was the perfect price to put into it. Geek Squad tech was also good. Went over the system with me and answered all my questions when we picked it up only three hours later. Haven't had any issues with the remote start or the door locks. Very satisfied!

The price was too good to pass on. It included installation too. The guy in the install place (Joe) was very helpful on the phone and with the actual installation. I ended up tipping him because I was very pleased with the whole process. It took about 2 hours or so to install. Great service...great product!

I was happy to see this as a deal of the day because winters are long and cold and this makes it a lot easier. After the initial install, it needed a slight adjustment to work on my inclined driveway. I spoke over the phone with the guy who installed it and he talked me through the easy fix with no problem. Having it professionally installed by Best Buy was a time saver and we knew it was done right. Worth the money!!!

The advertised signal range is about 500feet, they advertised up to 1,000 feet. You have to be really close to the car for the remote lock to work. Only good thing about it is that it's simple to use.

Got a great deal on this through best buy, with free install. Install took over 5 hours, so I'm glad I didn't attempt it myself. Negative is, when I use the remote start, the remote disables my ability to unlock and open my side-doors remotely...so, if I have groceries or kids with me, this is a disadvantage. Otherwise, it's a great tool that works well with my Toyota van.

Customer service was good. But online service was terrible. The remote I ordered wouldn't even work with my vehicle. That should be a standard question- type of car. I had to spend even more money to get the correct remote starter. How convenient, I say.

Great sale of the day deal. Works great, reasonably priced and a real asset this winter.

I love turning on the heater when I shut off the engine at night so the car will be all warm and cozy when I start it with my remote in the morning. Every mechanic will agree that warming up a car for a few minutes in the morning when the engine is cold will extend the engine life by at least 50%. So using the remote saves lots of money.

Good for a remote system just limited by distance.
