I purchased this as deal I of the day for over half off and feel it was a good deal with Greek squad install. Definitely would not recommend paying full price. It basically just starts the car and unlocks the doors. The reside for unlocking the doors is a little slow but acceptable (two presses to unlock all doors). It is not able to turn on defrost or heat or anything .

Sometimes the cars starts then shuts right off. There is some kind of problem overiding my alarm which the installed supposedly bypassed but it doesn't always work. The range on this device isn't that great. My brother also bought this same product and the installer told him it is an inferior product as there are better remote starters on the market. There was a reason it was only $200 with installation.

I bought this starter for my Honda accord earlier in the winter season. Was a wonderful addition to the Midwest winters. Made life more bearable. My husband was envious and asked me to watch for another deal of the day on it for his car. He got his installed a few weeks ago and is just as happy as I am about the starter.

Great devise that under rates itself. Have repeated tested distance and have been able to start from 3200 ft with direct sight. Pretty d arn good if ya ask me

finally had it installed and everything is working great, no problems. Can start my car from my desk at work and its been a nice add to my car before the winter months of Chicago

I had to return the product because it was going to cost an additional $100 for "parts" for my particular car. That's a 50% increase! Then I spent over 2 hours, speaking to 11 different people, 2 from India, 9 from the US, before my refund was processed 6 days later. I still have not received the full refund as they did not refund the tax for the installation. So do I want to sit on the phone for another 45 minutes for the $6.00 in tax??? My choice I know. I'm going to have to really want the next product that shows up on Best Buy Deal of the Day!! Dissatisfied with Best Buy not necessarily this product

At the tech advice it was traded for a viper remote starter unit because track record was not estabish for model purchase and cost of repairs not covered was higher. The viper model had a good track record for lasting.

This is the best remote starter provided by Best Buy. I have been interested in buying this model for a few years now but it was to expensive. When the deal of the day came up and it was so affordable I could not pass it up.

It's easy to use and has awesome range. I can start my car from a long way away. The only thing that could be better is it has a three second delay after holding the start button down for three seconds so it really takes 6 or 7 seconds to start it. I would still highly recommend it.

Having a remote starter means that I will not have to get into a cold car this winter. I also will not have to scrape ice from frozen windows, and my car doors will open easily instead of the door seals being frozen shut!

Love my remote starter. It was difficult to get installed since my local Best Buy does not have an install technician. Had to drive a ways to get it installed.

I like the starter very much. I does everything it is supposed to do. I just wish it had better range. It only works from about 10 feet away.

This is my first remote car starter, I would probably get a 2 way that tells you if the car started if I was doing it again but this one is still liked and starts the car through 3 walls, the outer one covered with stone so I am not really disappointed.

I would not purchase this again..Instead I would choose a vendor that didn't ask me to lose an existing feature in order to utlize the product. I as first car in that morning and was told that it wold take 3hrs to install so I shopped in nearby stores--I kept calling after 4 hrs and was put off over and over until time almost doubled. I had no contact initiated from them--AND after I got there to pick up FINISHED car that I was told that they could not get the 'button' to unlock the trunk to work--a feature I had BEFORE I went in--they suggested I'd just need to carry both my new and my old key fobs. Crazy. A product should perform as promised. Additionally, now when I turn off the car, my lights stay on for just over 4 minutes rather than the approx 1 min it took to go off prior to this product install. I was so disappointed with this experience that instead of buying my new compter, printer and new tablet at Best Buy on Black Friday I purchased them from another retailer. My advice is to Spend a bit more money--get a product that works as promised and installers who care about customer service.

This item works as it should, with limitations. Bestbuy install was very good. That said, the advertised range of 1000 feet is a total joke! About 4-500...MAX...and that is across an open field. Get inside a building and you will be LUCKY to get 100 feet! In a word: W E A K.

I purchased this as a gift for my wife's car. She LOVES it. She can start the car from her office or the living room. Perfect for this week when the temp was -15!

Got this on a Black Friday special, awesome deal. The product is perfect for my needs, look forward to having a warm car in the winter. Installation was the best.

I love being able to start my car remotely, especially great on cold snowy days. Depending on your make of car be prepared for additional install costs.
