Bought on Sale. Installed it many months later. No problems. Have to get used to operation, but does as stated.

I got this for the DOD price of $200 with install codes and bypass module. I then paid an additional $78 for an upgraded hood switch, and integration into the headlights and horn. At the full retail price, no way... but catch the deal (its been up twice) and you won't be disappointed.

Best Buy did a great job installing the remote starter and it works well. I have no problems having it work although the range seems to work to about 20 yards which will be fine for most homes but a little out of range from where I park from my office. Not big deal. I like it and recommend it.

We purchased a remote car starter from another store and love it. We were hoping for the same experience here but it did not work out that way. Installation job was poor and we have taken it in once already and will need to do it again. Range is not 1000 feet. It is more in the 75 foot no obstructions (i.e. a wall) range. Reliability is spotty. Sometimes it turns on, some times it does not. All in all very disappointed with the purchase.

I am very frustrated with this purchase. 1. When I first purchased the item & went to get it installed they told me after everything was installed that it would be an extra $85 for some extra "stuff" they had to use. Why wasn't I told this when I asked if there would be any extra charges? Only good thing, if you can say, was that the guy lowered the price to $40. 2. A week after purchasing it just stopped working altogether. 3. Too many little glitches. When I am driving sometimes my lights inside my car will flash & make clicking noises. 4. THE MOST FRUSTRATING PART OF ALL: My alarm now randomly goes off. Like today at 4am in the morning. This has happened on multiple occasions and frankly why I am writing this review. I dont need my neighbors waking up at all hours of the night along with me. When I am at work I dont need people coming to tell me my alarm is going off. If I were you I would stay away... not worth the hassle. Only good thing I can say is that I got the unit same day and installed within the same week.

Very happy with this product and the tech that installed it did a very nice job!!

This is my first negative review I have ever posted. I had read other reviews, so I knew there could be extra costs on top of the $199 Deal of the Day. Most have posted $25 -$75. When I asked Best Buy what add'l costs would be our 2010 Fusion, I was told it would be an additional $200. Obviously, we are not purchasing this item. BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT YOUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE BEFORE PURCHASING! I was happy that they didn't try to cover any of this up. They were very nice and upfront with the additional costs.
