Jason Momoa did a great job as Conan, but it will never live up to the original! Great action movie though!!

Pros: 3D but medium level Digital copy. Cons: No slipcover.

What can you say regarding a movie about "Conan the Barbarian". The best thing about this movie is Jason Momoa. What an exceptional actor. Too bad the critics are just noticing his incredible talent. I believe he can do it all, i.e. drama, action, comedy. More Momoa PLEASE...

I enjoy 3D movies and want to add this to my collection. Not a great movie but the action is good. I like the Arnold Conan movies better but it's alright.

Great flick with plenty of action from start to finish and good cast of actors. Needed the 4k version to complete the combo set and at a great price. Keep'em com'in Bestbuy!!!

Jason Mamoa stars in this update of the Conan franchise... it is probably worth a second view, but don’t expect the wonder of the original Awnold film.

Ran across this on sale. Had to add it to my collection.

I know some people were critical of this film as they can't see anyone in the role but Arnold, however I personally felt it was was a really good reboot/reimagining of a classic film series. Jason Momoa looked and behaved the part, and the current gen CGI effects did a lot to bring life to some of the creatures like the giant squid like beast that just wasn't possible in the 80s. Story was decent, cinematography was really good. Highly recommend to fans of Conan or just fantasy films in general.

Good if you loved the classics! The 4k looks awesome

This movie often gets a lot of flack because I think people weren’t willing to see anyone else other than Arnold in the role of Conan. But with the recent rise of Jason Momoa, it’s worth revisiting as this movie actually holds very true to the original Comics the character is based on. I will always be a lover of the original Conan movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but this film is a bit more polished, with more dynamic action sequences and moments that feel like they’re pulled right out of the comic. This is a pretty standard rerelease of the original blu ray, but I’d you don’t already own this, then the upgrade in picture quality and attractive price point makes this a worthy addition to your collection if you’re a fan of the originals!

Although not necessarily an Oscar-caliber film, this is still a great movie that takes many different aspects of the decades-spanning Conan stories and characters and manages to weave them carefully into one really exciting film. It would be great to see more like this one, but for now, I'm happy with what they've done.

Good movie good sotre to get movies from. Happy they

Having seen the original with Arnold, this was a big improvement. Obviously technology improvements over the years helps but there was more to like about this remake. Better casting, acting, plot development, etc. made for enjoyable viewing.

If you can find this one cheap (less than $7) then I would suggest picking it up. The story is just intriguing enough to hold your interest. Special effects were average. Music (I don't remember anything significant about it) Acting was par. One thing I did not like was that this was set in the days of the Barbarian warlords... way before modern medicine and technology... yet all these actors had glowing white perfect teeth.... that takes all the 'realism' out of any kind of make-believe.

May not be compared to the original Conan movies but it makes for great action in the modern era. I personally thought the rock would have made a great Conan but the main character who also played Kahl drago in the game of thrones has a solid performance.

This film is different than the previous two from Arnold. It is a little campy on humor and has some great action scenes. The plot isn't bad and the movie is keeps your attention. What more could you want from a film?

For once 3D was used as a planned focal point rather than an afterthought. The best 3D we've encountered since Avatar. Things actually pop out of the screen instead of merely showing depth of field. The sand warriors were an unexpected treat.
