Another sold release

Another sold release from a band that was dead in the water for the last 20 years. While it's not as strong or diverse as their first 6 releases it's another sold CD. Although this new CD might not be as melodic as their 2013 self titled reboot it's clearly heavier and more progressive. I would even say it's more of a grower since it really took 6 or more listens before it really started to click with me. There are a lot of tracks that have that QR sound. Especially the first three tracks. Really classic Queensryche. I think if they want to really compete with their earlier releases they need to diversify more. Adding more acoustic guitars and spooky computerized keyboard would really break up the monotony of the heavy guitar riffing.

It's hard to explain what it was that I felt upon first hearing this album. I'll sum it up with this - I felt the same hearing this album as I did their first EP. It's the first time in 20 years that I truly feel the band delivered an honest effort that connects the listener to who Queensryche are. I stopped listening to them in the 90s because they had lost the ability to put a cohesive album out. I love this current lineup and hope to hear much more from them in the future.

Queensryche has been around for twenty plus years now. Their unique sound continues to impress me. Although they have changed the lineup--Geoff Tate, Chris DeGarmo are no longer with QR--they still have an enormous amount of talent. The new guys--lead singer Todd La Torre, guitarist Parker Lundgren--fit in seamlessly. When you replace talent such as this with quality performers like they have come to be, Queensryche will continue their journey back to the top.

Good Follow-up for Toddsryche

The 2nd album with Todd LaTorre as front man finds the band expanding on the sound they developed on the s/t album from a couple of years ago. This album sounds a little more focused and the band is tight. They are finally able to rock again. Makes you wonder if this was the music that hammer Geoff Tate was vetoing all those past years. While it's not exactly a throwback to their classic sound, it certainly rocks harder than the band has since the old Empire days.

Queensryche is a very underrated band. They have a back catalog of classic progressive metal albums, but have pretty much been reduced to one hit wonders of the 1990s because of the hit song "Silent Lucidity" which is easily their worst song. I highly recommend "Rage For Order", "The Warning", "Operation: Mindcrime" and "Promisedland". All great albums from one of the original progressive metal bands!

While this is not the first album with Todd LaTorre as vocalist, the band and him tap into what made the first five Queensryche albums great. The first seven tracks of Condition Human take you on a tour de force, one that hasn't been seen since The Warning or Empire. Highlights for me are Hellfire, Toxic Remedy and Eye9. Grab it...and better yet, see them live when they come to your town!

Many were wondering if Queensryche would be able to follow up their self-title release two years ago which was their first album with Todd La Torre singing for them. In my eyes & ears Condition Human delivered on that follow up & continues to showcase how La Torre has brought new life to a band that many (including myself) have left for dead before Geoff Tate's controversial exit in 2012.

Queensryche has returned to form. Todd LaTorre does a wonderful job in the vocal department. He reminds me of the early and good days of Queensryche. The last songs has a little Pink Floyd sound (maybe Careful with that Axe Eugene). If you long for the Ryche days of old (Rage for Order, The Warning, Operation Mindcrime) then this is a must purchase for your collection. RYCHE and ROLL.

Overall a great album! Todd la Torre sounds so much like Geoff Tate, this sounds like the old Queensryche you know and love. You can tell the band is firing on all cylinders, rather than the music being a one cylinder Tate show.

When the current lineup put out new music in 2013 under the name Queensrÿche without Geoff Tate, a legal battle ensued. Now, they're free to continue under the moniker. Condition Hüman is old school Queensrÿche with modern production from Zeuss (Sanctuary, Rob Zombie, Crowbar).

The Ryche is back by far the best album since Chris left. Whip and Parker's have some phenomenal guitar riffs. Todd's vocals are tight and as Scott is rock solid on drums as always. Worth the money spent \m/

Incredible new album by the Todd LaTorre fronted line up of the band that picks up right where their self-titled release from 2013 left off. A bit more progressive but still very much in the vein of the '83 to '94 era. HIGHLY recommended.

If you like older Queensryche like I do you will find this album fits that mold. I love how much the vocals and music remind me of empire and mindcrime CDs. The more I listen to this the more I love it.

not quite a home run, but a good solid effort nonetheless. The new singer is close enough to the old (strange!) so that you can just listen to the new tunes without worrying too much about the differences.

This is a good, not great, queensryche album. It is better than I expected and has a great classic feel to it. If you're a fan of the band, especially the first few albums, this is for you.

Queensryche had done it again, they managed to top their last album with this one. This one sounds like a mix between Empire and Operation Mindcrime, which is incredible.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this album, their first album was a rocking one and this one tops it. Great sound and wonderful lyrics! Can't wait to see them on tour!
