I really enjoyed the unusual content and concepts displayed in the film, acting was not poor either.

Other than not being a heavy action sci-fi movie, the acting is very good, as well as the visuals and sound. I even purchased a copy and mailed it to a friend who is an outer-space fiend.

This is a fun movie with just the right amount of comedy and romance, but lots of intelligence and hope.

Needed to upgrade my DVD version and this did the trick. Picture and sound are great!

Are there other intelligent life forms in the galaxy? Probably. Is Tom Skerritt in this movie? Yes. If I like science fiction movies, will I like Contact? Definitely.

Blu-ray of Robert Zemeckis film has excellent visual and audio qualities, perfectly replicating the theater experience, with a fine array of special features and extras.
