Although this is the first game in the Cooking Mama series, it is still the best! My daughter loves the game and like Electroplankton it's one that you can keep in the Nintendo library forever -- classic fun and a great price, thanks Best Buy!

The game is still a fun game but sometimes the controls are to sensitive or not sensitive enough. I would get the game if only it was on sale....never pay full price for it.

Simple cooking game with tons of recipes and more to unlock with each you complete. Millions of recipes from around the world and are real recipes. I truely believe that you can learn to cook from playing this or you can use it as a real recipe book to cook your meals. The graphic look real, cute, and delicious all at the same time. Only thing that they shouldn't include is the timer, it makes me nervous. Other than that it's a great cooking game and antone can play it the directions are very simple. I would spend all a day trying to perfect each recipes and geet gold medal. There are some recipes that you can decorae the food like the pizza and there are tons of recipes easy and hard so you never get bored. I recently got one of these as a gift for one of my friends's child and she loves it.

I think this game is an excellent way to use the special features of the Nintendo DS. It's probably one of the most creative games I've ever played. Now there are a bunch of knock-offs and wannabes but this was the original for me. This is one of those games that I will play for a little while and then put away and then rediscover a couple months later and love it just as much as I did the first time I played it. I beat the game pretty quickly and then there wasn't really anything to do. Cooking Mama 2 has been released and has many features that the first one lacked so I'm very impressed with that.

Bought this for my 6 year old niece...and she loves it. It's easy for her to play and understand and the graphics are pretty cool.

I enjoyed this game, which a lot of ds games I dont enjoy. It kept myself and family occupied for hours. It's very kid friendly, but also appeals to adults. I have learned how to cook different dishes as well. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys cooking or anyone who enjoys being challenged.

Fun game, innovative, and us of Stylus is great. You can actually learn to cook some dishes on this game of at least get an ideal on how to cook the dish. Though, I did get done with all the dishes in two days. So what tedious at time, but for the price, it's a good buy.

Good game to play for a few minutes here and there while in the car or on the bus. Repetitive and not sensitive enough at times but overall lots of fun :)

It is an exellent game. Has some what a challenge . After a while it is hard to get different foods but otherwise great game.

I got this game awhile ago. It is very fun because you are able to well... cook for fun. As you cook different meals you unlock more meals to cook. The game even includes a grading scale to judge you on how you cook, so do your best.

It is like your own mini kitchen!! I love cutting up the foods for the recipes and getting new recipes!!!!! I think you will love this so much!!!

It's a really great game but some things like cutting sausage is really hard. Well it's not hard to do, it's just hard to finish in the time limit. Love it alot. Recommend it to everyone.

I like this one better than cooking mama 2. It is so much fun. It is a little tricky at first. You can unlock newer recipes in this game. I would definitley recommend this game.

This game is so much fun i dont want to give it away but i love cooking with mama. It s agreat family game.

this game is really fun. you can cook all kinds of recipes and you can combine recipes! all ages would like this, but after you unlock everything it is boring.....

It takes a little practice, but it is really fun and I like to cook.

I was skeptical about this one, seemed like a dumb concept...but my daughter (8) absolutely loves it! We'll see how long the thrill lasts, but so-far so-good!
