I recommend you make sure it will fit inside your case before buying, I checked out Antec's website, Cooler Master's website, and a few forum build websites making sure others have built using the same parts to be safe first. I could only use 1 of the 2 120mm side fans on my case because of the slightly raised fan on the Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO, I do not feel like moving it right now, and it works great the way it is.

This was 3 times as big as I thought. It's well made but you need a huge case.

This has kept my temps very cool, even after playing some maxed out Battlefield 4 Hardline..It also vents a lot of heat out, its very nice. It is bulky but it is a must for a pc cooler if your not going to do water cooling like myself.

Great CPU Cooler for the money

I bought this for a new gaming system I was building, I looked into water cooling, however I am not a heavy over clocker so I went this route. With the Antec Eleven hundred case, I figured this would be overkill for simple or light overclocking, I was right. For the last 45 days no matter how much I tax my system the CPU temp runs around 11 to 13 Celsius. I tried editing and burning Blu-ray home videos in Nero, while playing a video and ran around online in Guild Wars 2, and had several websites open, the CPU got up to 15 Celsius for maybe a minute before going back down.
I reviewed a few videos on how to install this before going for it myself, just to make sure, it looked simple enough. I found out it is possible to turn the huge heat sink in a different direction prior to installing, as long as you pay attention to where the pin on the base connects to the bracket, you may have to adjust it a few times and re-insert it before mounting it to the CPU. You want it right before then, so you have little to no movement while tightening the screws, that way you do not ruin the application of the thermal paste between it and the CPU. I have it pointing the exhaust out the back of my case, with the fan closest to my Ram slightly raised to avoid the heat sinks on them, yes you could move the fan to the other side to pull air instead of push it, it is not that hard to adjust the mounting bracket to do this. It also comes with a mounting kit to add a second fan for a push pull configuration and instructions on how do all the different options. I think it should of came with the second fan, however it does a great job for the price, this is why I rated features 4 instead of 5.
I recommend you make sure it will fit inside your case before buying, I checked out Antec's website, Cooler Master's website, and a few forum build websites making sure others have built using the same parts to be safe first. Recently upgraded my stock Intel CPU cooler with this CM Hyper 212 Evo. Idle temps went from 35C to below 25C and under load temps went from 70-75C to 50C max. Would highly recommend this CPU cooler for anyone who overclocks their CPU and is looking for an affordable cooling solution.

The fan bearing started to fail 5 months into the 2 year warranty. They won't replace my fan. They offered for me to ship the product back to them myself. Oh really thanks. Let me ship the $6 dollar fan back to you, while I wait with no computer to use. Thanks Coolermaster, now I know never to buy from you again! Next time just send the $6 dollar fan to you customers. Buy a better brand with better customer service. Corsair would send a fan no questions asked and probably would so many other companies. It's standard policy in 2015.

Keeps the CPU Cool

This is a upgrade from a earlier Hyper 212. I have a Intel i7 3770 installed with this cooler. I did take a step futher and added a second fan for push and pull air flow. The setup keeps the CPU at 26c to 32c. I am sure there might be better coolers out there but this one does the job for me.

Warning you may have to remove your motherboard

I bought this and realized that I had to completely take apart my PC unplug everything off my motherboard remove the screws and take it out it from the case, because I had to install a panel, that came with the PC fan, in the back of the motherboard, took about 4 hours to install, and another hour to check to make sure everything was plug in and running in the device manager.
