    Overall is a very good cooler for 12 gen cpus and bellow. It could not cool my i7 13th gen though, at leas not optimally like I wanted. I ended up getting an water aio for my i7.

    The Hyper 212 was the budget king for many years for air cooling. That title has been passed onto several other coolers in the sub-30 price range. The Hyper 212 has gone through several redesigns, with the latest version giving it a black finish and an RGB fan. The cooling performance has been improved a bit, but the installation method hasn't. If you've installed a 212 in the past, it's pretty much the same. If you need something in a pinch, this will do. I'd prefer something from Noctua.
