Before I purchased this, my laptop was literally shutting down from overheating at least 3 or 4 times a week, and if I touched the bottom, it would usually be hot to the touch. I got this today and all I can say is WOW!!! The fans work great, the laptop isn't even warm and it doesn't shut down from overheating...the construction is top notch, I'm very impressed. Thank you

I have a toshiba qosmio x875-7280 and its big. this cooling pad has plenty of room and does wonders for keeping it cool. I'm a gamer and do lots of HD multimedia which makes my laptop quite hot. This tray lets me place the fans under the hot spots to maximize it's effect.

I've gone through 3 cooling mats now. They never lasted more than a week. Don't remember the names, but they were from Walmart (where a clerk once recommended an "aluminum screen mat"). I got this today and can tell this will last me for a while. I'm a computer science major in my sophomore year. I need a laptop that runs cool. And add to that I do a bit of graphic design work and 3d modeling, both of which can really get a computer hot. So my laptop...it's really important to my schoolwork and hobbies. The three movable fans are awesome as well. "One size fits most" should be in reference to clothing...not computer accessories. My laptop has a few spots that get hot (one near the far left corner, and one closer to the center front). So a mat with 2 fans dead center...not helpful really. Wouldn't you rather have the air flow centered on the hot areas? Fan speed control is also good. My past mats ran at 1 speed...it seems like it was a low speed which didn't help. My computer sometimes I'll need only a little help with cooling, other times it needs full power it seems. So the motors get a break but keep cooling my laptop. Unfortunately....this was made for only table top use. I'd like it to be for lap use, but beggars can't be choosers. I actually took the box from the mat and made a mini-table out of it so that issue was resolved fast. Can't say the packaging went to waste either. Overall...best cooling mat I've bought.

This little thing is great, I've had it for almost a month now and it is still working fine, very quiet too. It fits my 17.3 inch laptop perfectly, and with its rubber strip at the bottom it keeps it in place nicely. I use my laptop to mainly play games and photoshop for school and it runs very warm. For ex. when I play minecraft it used to run at about 140-150*F, but with this cooler it runs approx. 135-145*F. That doesn't seem like a lot but it is. I also really like how you can move the fans around to "customize" it for your needs. Doesn't work that great on beds but that's no big deal to me. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the pass through usb connector sticks out kinda far and I'm worried I might bump it and it will break on me, but other than that 5 stars all around.

As a web designer, who works almost 100% on my laptop, I run a lot of graphics programs at one time. The heat my laptop threw was very scary. This design, with movable fans is nothing short of genius, you can move them where you need them. The extra usb and the fan control just top off all the other great features. I can work all day now, and my laptop stays cool. The only improvement I can see it could use is the ability to fold the back down for storage when traveling with the laptop.

I have an old laptop that only gets hot on the left-hand side. I tried several fans, even the ones made for a 17-inch laptop and they didn't even come close to cooling the area that was needed on mine, but then I got this one with the moveable fans - and it's not a problem anymore. I lined up 2 on the left-side, right where I needed them and my laptop remains much cooler than before. It says that the fans are adjustable, but I find that unnecessary because I run them on the fastest setting all the time. My only wish is that the fastest was just a touch more powerful, but even with their current power level, it gets the job done.

3 Fans, controllable speed, very quite, very well built, can move the fans around, etc. etc. Pretty awesome!

my asus G60Vx run super hot where the cpu is and where its built in cooling fan is located. with this cooling pad my lap top is actually cold!! i expected it to be mildly warm, but no my computer is COLD!! the move able fans is well done and the fan controls. fan also works as a metal case (not shown here) it explains on box, so its a great cooling fan and it keeps my laptop extra safe when i take it with me in computer bag.

Awesome! 3 fans and they are moveable. I can put them where the notebook gets warmest. The quality and versitility of this thing are TOP SHELF. I can feel the air moving around the unit. Fan speed is adjustable and the usb port is not tied up because the compant thought to give the plug in a back access! Mt notebook is everything I use it fo my work and for gaming its on all the time and Im so happy with how well this cools it I wish I could get a model of desktops.

Prior to this purchase, I could warm my hands on the keyboard on a cold Wisconsin winter-that was before the computer would shut itself down on overheat condition. Has not had an overheat since started using this product-great purchase!!!!

I am very picky and this is everything I had hoped for and more! This was designed & manufactured by a genius. You can put the fans anywhere. They attach so easily & they're sturdy & sooo quiet. I can't think of a thing to make this product any better. It is perfect!!!

I run Gentoo linux on my laptop, which is an OS where you compile every single piece of software from source code. My machine used to get *really* hot sometimes, and occasionally it would power off because of the cpu temperature. I used to have to set my machine to use a conservative cpu governor or even set the cpu speed to the minimum sometimes. Not any more - I can now make full use of my cpu's processing power and don't even need to even worry about the temperature. I can get rid of the cpu speed and temperature monitor applets now. I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone whose machine often runs hot because of number crunching, gaming, etc.

It cools well and allows customization. 3 fans is certainly enough. One special feature is they include an elastic band to keep your laptop attached to the "underside" of the cooler. Unfortunately if you use it with the fans in place (why else would you use a notebook cooler without the fans? or at the least why buy a U3 model with 3 fans and not use it) it will scratch the bottom of your laptop. My brand new laptop was scratched. Very upsetting.

Our current laptop has always run very hot. When the laptop was only 10 months old, it ran so hot that it melted the back and the motherboard had to be replaced. A year after that it started getting so hot it would turn itself off. No one could seem to give us an answer to what to do to keep this from happening. We asked several times about a cooling fan, was told they could replace the laptop fan but did not recommend placing it on a coolling stand. We did some research and choose to purchase the cooling stand. Since implamenting the cooling stand the laptop hasn't over heated or turned off. I would recommend this product to anyone with a laptop computer.

I purchased this to replace one that I had that was cheap and made a lot of noise. This cooling fan is very quiet you do not even know that it is running and I've even had to check it just to make sure it is on. A great price! It meets my needs completely.

Works great would recommend to any one. Keeps my HP Laptop running cooler than before. The angle the laptop sits now takes some getting use too.

Had two hot spots. Was able to put the fans where needed. Both spots are cool now and not having any graphics problems.

Excellent laptop cooler. My 5 year old enjoys playing games and it has kept the computer cool. The usb port makes it nice to plug additional items into. The laptop cooler is elevated which makes it easier to type. Very quiet and fits a 17" laptop perfectly. Nice little strap for traveling.

Keeps my laptop cool. My laptop is not hot anymore and being hot use to scare me. I was really concerned about how hot it use to get. Now I have no worries.
