Smart feature is great and able to control from phone easily. If your not good with electrical or nervous about it, there are some great videos on YouTube which can guide you through the process.

I knew not having the C wire I figured either ill have to get an electrician out or just deal with the ole skool ones. LUCKILY I came across this thermostat. The app provides step by step instructions, wiring im a little wigged out about, the app walks you through each wire and what to label and where to connect. I truly wish i wiuld have found tbis alot sooner. The schedule feature is amazing! So many others I have yet to mess with.
