This thermostat delivers great value at a great price. Their tech support is outstanding. I called them with a question and they were patient to answer each question. I was very impressed.

Checked and reviewed many and glad to have purchased this one. As all of the other reviewers say, use the YouTube videos to help in installation, as I had older versions of thermostats.

This I a good product but I returned it for a nest because I was used to it but if you are looking for a cheaper alternative give this a try

Great unit easy to use. Love the fact that I can adjust my air conditioner settings while in bed or away.

Thermostat reading can sometimes be off but other then that great.

5 stars for the product. The deduction is for best buy. The product came used, unbeknownst to me. We had an installer come up and was notified that the hardware package was missing.

Great functionality!!! Love the fact I don’t have to leave my bed and down a full flight of stairs to turn up or down. I can also change the temp back as soon as my mother in law changes it. :)

I have used earlier versions prior to touch screen for years using single app at multiple locations. The thermostat is easy to install and configure on the app.

Emerson thermostats were delivered on time and in perfect condition.

Set up was super easy! Took about 20 minutes. Easy to use and program.

It’s been working for several months and now I simply can’t get it re-connected to the Wi-Fi in my house. Did a little more research on Comcast and it appears to be that the Comcast router is not compatible with the Sensi device. I’ll be moving on to a compatible device but I definitely like the Wi-Fi thermostat.

Awesome thermostat have it for my central air and love it.

This trash worked for a couple of weeks, then it almost destroyed my unit by repeatedly shutting off and on. Additionally, my house remained humid the entire time it was installed. I paid for professional installation and it was a waste of money. My son reinstalled our original thermostat, and we have had no more issues since.

The Emerson Sensi Touch thermostat is great smart thermostat, combine it with the Sensi app and you have a full featured experience. Installing the thermostat is a breeze, you will need a smart phone or tablet to get started in order to download the app. The app is where you follow the instructions to install and register your new Sensi thermostat. The biggest problem I encountered; was I didn’t have a C-wire installed. This was an easy fix, the app had videos that guided me how to install the wire. After I installed the unit, everything seemed to be working fine. The thermostat looks very nice. It’s shiny and has a bright yet minimal touch display. The display has the current temperature in the center and off to the left, the time is displayed, you can also choose to display the humidity level as well. The touch display works fine, I just wish the temperature gauge would scroll if you swiped it up or down. Instead, you have to tap the arrow up and down to the desired degree. It’s not a deal breaker, but just a little improvement like that would make the thermostat much sounder. The LED screen is just the right amount of brightness for my preference, it also auto dims too. The thermostat changes colors depending on when the unit is ion use…For instance, when the thermostat is cooling the screen will be blue, once it reaches the desired temp it turns a dark grey. While everything can be programed right on the unit itself, the Sensi app offers many extra features. With the app, your phone becomes a potable remote controller with a display. You can set custom schedules, change the temperature remotely even if you’re not on the same wifi network, you can also view usage reports that give detailed information about how much time and energy the AC has been running. You can also set up service reminders to let you know when its time to change the air vent. Other features include Geofencing, this sets back the temp 3 degrees when you leave a 3-mile radius from your home, as well as the ability to add it to HomeKit. Overall, I really like the Sensi Touch thermostat. It’s incredibly easy to use, it looks very stylish and has many features. The Sensi app is a great companion app that lets you program and control your thermostat from anywhere in the world. The ability to set custom humidity levels is a bonus, not to mention all the other great features like Geofencing, service reminders, etc. The only thing that would make this perfect in my opinion, would be to add the ability to scroll the temperature on the touchscreen (and maybe add some haptic feedback clicks). I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a smart thermostat.
