I have been wanting this tool for awhile. I’m the only wine drinker in the house so it is real handy for me to have a glass of my favorite wine and it not go bad. Best thing I got for the year

This is one of the best things since sliced bread! Totally saves the wine from being wasted. I highly recommend this item if you are not someone who finishes a bottle when you open it.

How have I lived without this thing? When you just don't want to finish a bottle of wine everytime you crack one, this is here to save your sobreity and pocketbook!

I love this! I am a wine lover and I love to taste test all different wines at the same time. Now, this Coravin allows me to do just that without all my pricey wine going bad. It's so easy to use and it's great that it comes with a case & extra cartridges. It was purchased during the holidays & with the discount, I was able to get this for a steal (~$150). Best wine-related purchase ever. I was surprised to find the cartridges last longer than expected. We went through a solid number of bottles before we had to replace it.

This is amazing. My wife doesn’t like to drink a whole bottle at a time and this made it to where she didn’t have to. Defiantly worth it.

In my opinion this would be ideal for those who entertain or the serious wine connoisseur due to its price point. It keeps your wine fresh without ever having to remove the cork. Could be especially useful if you have multiple wines and want to drink a little of each without opening up every bottle in fear of going flat The way it works is pretty ingenious. It uses a needle to penetrate the cork in your wine bottle and as you trigger the device to get wine out it seems to pressurize the bottle with the Argon so that the wine doesn't go flat. Then when you're done you simply remove the device and needle and the cork keeps its seal. It's stylish in appearance but I'd think they would use more metallic or aluminum rather than a plastic feel because of the price. The cylinders although they look like CO2 cartridges, happen to be filled with Argon. A little about Argon for those curious, Argon is an inert gas, so isn't harmful in itself. However, it is an asphyxiant, which means it will, in sufficient concentration, displace the oxygen in the air, So I'm assuming this is why this works so well with this system It comes with a really nice carrying case. which has slots to hold two additional Argon cylinders for travel. It includes a few screw tops with a rubber bladder for the needle to puncture that can remain screwed tight on the bottle keeping its seal. It also comes with a bag to slide the bottle of wine down in for safety in case the pressure causes the bottle to explode. To buy replacement Argon cylinders its roughly $9 through their website which are sold in bundles. The smallest being a bundle of 3 but the more you purchase the bigger the discount. They also have a multitude of other accessories and addons through the Coravin website. I'd recommend this to others it's a really nice system

It's a great device and completely seals the bottle. There are no spills once the needle is removed.
