Good antenna, discrete profile

We didn't want a huge, unsightly antenna. This one looks like a sound bar and fits nicely below the TV screen. Lots of channels, good picture quality.

Trying to receive local tv station. Will try to keep scanning. May not be able to receive it but tv is in bedroom so no big deal. Taking cable box back today. Good antenna for price.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With the rapid increase in cord-cutting (ending cable subscription) finding a good premium OTA antenna to pull in current HD 1080i (ASTC 2.0) or near future 4K (ASTC 3.0 Next Gen) broadcast content is vital since plenty of TV shows, local news and sports can be viewed for free. Major broadcasting station offer channels for free via over-the-air that is accessed with an antenna but getting these channels in can be a pain since there are so many factors that affect reception quality. The Core Innovations - Indoor TV Antenna pick ups station signals very well in my area and should also work well with others under ideal circumstances. Design wise I’m impressed with the small form factor and slick modern look that fits in well with décor of other devices. In my case, the lady of the house hated having the previous antenna hanging on the wall and prefers this one. It looks like a cool tech device rather than others that’s obviously an antenna. As another option you can just place the antenna out of sight behind TV. Instructions were easy to follow and after connecting to TV and plugging in, the antenna pulled in 96 channels on TV scan. All my desired channels come in and are stable with an additional bonus of one that did not come in with prior antennas, that station is PBS and I’m extremely happy. :) Other features such as signal indicator makes things so much easier for you when it comes to placement and 3G/4G/5G LTE (cellular signals tends to interfere with TV signal) filtering is another one. When searching for an indoor antenna, you must do some research first, for example I’m around 25 miles away from broadcast towers, so considered an ideal candidate for an amplified indoor antenna according to https://www.antennasdirect.com. At a minimal it is key that you find out how many miles you’re away from the towers, for example, folks in a rural area with mountains far away from towers and would need an outdoor antenna but there is still no guarantee that you will pull in stations Your results will vary on any antenna depending on the situation so don’t expect any miracles. Now for the bad stuff: a USB for the power source would have been better in my opinion. Power cord is also too short.
