This is not the strobe light that i remember from the 80s. This light weight strobe light takes getting use to when adjusting the speed setting; patiences is the key to making it work. Once you get it it's smooth sailing from there. The yellow filter dimples in just fine, but that's just a preference call. If i had to do it again i would buy the more expensive version.

Perfectly good. I like how you can adjust the speed of the strobe. Doesn’t seem super sturdy, but it definitely works. Probably not intended for a large area.

I could get better results flipping on and off a night light than I could out of this strobe light. I purchased this one along with a cheaper strobe light (with 20 watts) and the lower wattage and least expensive is the far better choice in this case. im returning it today and purchasing 2 of the cheaper strobe lights for the price of this ONE!
