This is labeled as Mac Ram, however it is designed to work in any core 2 or 1st gen i3,i7,i7 cpu that takes ddr3 ram. It doesn't matter if is a mac or pc. It will generally also work in 2ND and 3rd Gen i3,i5,i7 also; however Best Buy stocks faster ram for these cpus.

I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro and it was running slow. I recently updated my hard drive to ssd but notice it was still slow when opening up a lot of programs. I added these bad boys and went from 4 to 8 gb. Now my laptop is running great and no issues yet.

Nice purchase! Installed into older laptop that grandson uses for Virtual School. Laptop was slow before with more than three tabs open. After installing this memory (doubled the size of ram), it can handle more tabs open at the same time, with more speed than before. Easy installation process that took only 20 minutes from start to finish, including time spent preparing laptop for "surgery", and proper steps to boot it back up.

I recently got an old 2009 MacMini that only had 1gb of ram. It needed more than that to just update the OS. I was able to pick these up for a lot less than I expected and swap them out as easy as can be expected for a MacMini. Make sure they get snapped in really tight though. I had to take it apart a second time because it wasn’t in far enough in the bracket. My fault. I swapped the hdd for a ssd at the same time and the mini has run like a new computer ever since!

Getting the most out of an older iMac by maxing out the Ram, is a super easy upgrade. Online instructions are easily found and the whole process shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. I upgraded a donated 2011 21.5” iMac from 8gb to 16gb total with this upgrade, allowing this machine to soldier on as a workstation for a while longer. Very pleased.

Easy self installation, works great. My 2013 MacBook Pro no longer overheats and there is virtually no more lag. A few dollars really made a noticeable change!

Excellent product and easy to install. As a matter fact, it is so easy that even a caveman can do this. After spending some time on YouTube to diagnose the problem I was having with my Mac, it ended up being a memory issue. I went to Best Buy.com, saw this money saving to pack, purchased it and installed it myself. No more memory issues. My computer skills are probably less than that of a caveman and I could do this. Needed memory for a laptop computer good deal, for about half the cost. My old I-3 laptop computer was running very sluggish with four gigs. The machine needed an update. When I went looking for memory, the dealer wanted an arm and a leg. These memory modules work great, and I paid about half, if not less, than what it would have cost me. Now I can get a little more life out of an old laptop computer.

Works perfectly with my 2010 Mac mini, the Mhz is perfectly capable, also 8gb is the maximum the 2010 model will handle, and this is the exact amount you will need.

I only gave this review an average score not because of the product it is working great the price was also grate but when I contacted the information website with questions if this product was compatible with my Toshiba laptop i was told not compatible well works just fine actually works grate had to check with my it guy I have to ask questions because i don't know so accurate info is important my 2 cents worth thank you grate product and grate price and most important it was on the shelf when i needed it JR

I was not sure from all the reviews both good and fair if the Corsair memory was the right choice for my Mac. I took the chance to upgrade and bought 8 megs for my MacBook Pro. I let Best Buy install the memory and they did a great job. The memory upgrade went from 4 to 8 megs and was easily recognized by the computer. Mac works faster already. Will definitely buy from this company again!

This 2x4 SoDIMM DDR3 memory kit by Corsair has proven to be a good buy: it has noticeably sped up operations on the computer, and we could not be happier about that. We tried other brands, and they caused either the BSoD (Blue Screen of Death) or did not let the computer even boot up at all. We can thank our local Geek Squad Agent for this recommendation. This Corsair DDR3 RAM was the right memory.

Due to the coronavirus, I'd recently began online school. I have a brand new MacBook air, but I really wanted to sit at my desk in my home office on my desktop instead. I really didn't want to purchase a brand new Imac for $2k so I upgraded the RAM on my 20 inch Imac, and ever since I have been able to do all that I need to do with ease. I do a lot of work, so I have like 8 tabs, 2 word docs, and Microsoft teams open all at once, and now my computer can handle the load.

This Corsair ram was priced good. Worked out well for the laptop I put it in as well. Would recommend for anyone needing an upgrade or replacement.
