Decent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent mouse, coming from the g502 and final mouse can’t beat the price. Only issue is icue compatibility, does not register nor does it allow me to sync with all other rgb.

perfectly fine entry-level mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This will be a very straight forward review for a very straight forward product. Sure, the Corsair Sabre Pro RGB has some pretty lights (bookending the scroll wheel and the Corsair logo at the palm of the mouse) and a couple extra buttons, but there isn't really anything special or fancy about it. It is a wired mouse with some lights and that's really all it tries to be, there's no gimmicks or frills attempting to trick you that it's something more than that. The mouse itself loses a star right off the bat considering how light it is. Some might prefer this, but for me considering they attached "Gaming" to the nomenclature. It is light, like REALLY light. It feels like an early 90's rolling-ball mouse only lighter due to the fact it doesn't have the extra heft of said rolling-ball in it. That aside, it's a great bit of kit. Feedback and onscreen movement reacts superbly for a mouse at this price point. You have two thumb buttons defaulted to forward/back inputs right out of the box as well as a DPI adjustment button below the scroll-wheel. The DPI setting is able to be viewed on the left side of the mouse just next to the aforementioned thumb buttons. The illumination will move across the 3 white lights letting you know how precise the onscreen movement of the cursor will be. Button and scroll wheel feel is as expected for any sort of Gaming Mouse south of $100. The only thing that would keep it from being considered by anyone above an average level of use would be the lack of features and specs, lack of additional buttons on the mouse itself which is what most avid gamers use, and the fact it is just so stinking light. But, that's why it is so significantly cheaper than those products. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for, and this is an entry-level mouse. So keep that in mind if you are considering it. I will point out that while it is a wired mouse, the cord itself is very long and is wrapped with a looser fabric that helps product it from snagging and getting caught on other cords and glass surfaces. I'll also add that this fabric helps keep noise to a minimum as you mouse the mouse around. What I mean by that is when you move a wired mouse around that has a rubber cord or a harder fabric braided cord the wire will sometimes "tap" or squeak when it rubs against surfaces/objects. The Corsair Sabre Pro's cord doesn't do that, a very welcome thing for someone who is easily perturbed by such noises. All in all a nice quality piece from Corsair and an easy recommendation for anyone looking for an entry-level gaming mouse or a nice everyday mouse that has some RGB lighting.

Excellent entry-level gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have large hands and this mouse is one of the few that fit my hand really well. It's also just the right weight. The button response is instant, there is no slack when you click. I prefer a mouse with only 2 buttons on the side, having more than that just confuses me, LOL. The iCUE software is the best part of the package. It gives you nearly infinite control over button programming and RGB lighting schemes. I also have a Corsair RGB gaming keyboard and a Corsair computer power supply and all 3 devices are controllable from the iCUE software. Overall for the price this mouse is a great choice.

Cheap build, good tech.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned the mouse because I didn't love the plastic surface on the thumb and cheap plastic build throughout. Great tech, worked perfectly well, but you're buying a high-tech, no frills mouse at a near-premium price point. Not awful, couldn't recommend.

Fast clicks, not very ergonomic
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a gaming mouse to go with my gaming setup. I decided to give this one a try. I was kind of disappointed with this mouse. Functionally I think it works really good. I liked the fast mouse clicks. It worked great with my games. I loved being about to change the dpi on the fly. It made it so I could quickly dial in my mouse speed without leaving the game. It also let me have a faster mouse speed during games and then lowering it for my everyday computing. Also having two extra buttons by the thumb was handy. I liked the cloth cording as well. I was disappointed that it doesn't have an infinite scroll wheel. I think that would of been really handy for gaming. I also wished that it had just a little bit more lighting to make it flashy. My biggest problem with this mouse is that it's not very ergonomic. It seems like it's for a bigger hand. Also with my setup, with multiple monitors, it's kind of clunky to pick the mouse up to reposition. The mouse just seems too smooth like it is going to slip out of my hand when I pick it up. I found myself clicking the back of the buttons trying to have it sit in my palm. Luckily it's a lighter mouse or I'd be even more worried about it slipping out of my hand.

Too sensitive and uncomfortable when in use
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old gaming mouse began to fail. I’m left-handed, so this seemed to be a good ambidextrous mouse. It kept cutting in and out while in use, though. I Checked the website and I was able to resolve this. But…not comfortable to my use.

Terrible software has bricked 2 mice now...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing this review after Corsair's iCue software has bricked my second Sabre RGB mouse, again during a firmware update. Both times I followed the apps instructions, and both times the update failed and killed the mouse. I even tried the 2nd mouse on my laptop to rule out the possibility my desktop was at fault. Corsair won't even respond to the technical support message I sent them 4 days ago. Maybe this is a fantastic mouse, I'll never know. I don't plan to give Corsair a third chance.

Incredibly responsive gaming mouse!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is a winner! The new Pro RGB gaming mouse from Corsair is maybe the fastest mouse I've ever used--the response time is incredible! The mouse is sleek and simple--and large, which is a benefit for those of us with larger hands--it feels substantial. The clicks from the right and left mouse seem instant, and feel satisfying when clicked. It's also one of the lightest mouses (mice?) I've ever used. Corsair put 'teflon' skates on the bottom, so it moves fast and instantly. The mouse works with basic plug and play, but with the iCue software (you'll have to download separately) you can do MUCH more! Programmable buttons, of course, but also pre-programmed DPI inputs to adjust to your liking (it has a custom 18,000 DPI sensor built in, but you need a really fast processor to take advantage of the complete sensor). You can also adjust this on the fly with the (very small) DPI button built into the mouse. If you're a serious gamer then Corsair's new mouse is made for you. Even casual gamers will notice a difference in the quality of this mouse. It's responsive enough that you will likely notice a difference instantly--even before adjusting the software to your liking. Definitely worth it---the only problem is now I want the gaming keyboard that matches!

The worst mouse feet I have ever seen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not recommend this mouse. the feet(glides) that came on it are very slim and after 46 days they are gone. the mouse now is scratchy because they feet did not last 46 days, The worst part, I cannot find a replacement online. the only good thing I liked about the mouse are the comfortable side buttons. That it.

Super light mouse, great for FPS
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice typical form factor means this mouse is very comfortable (think Razer Deathadder style). Now where this mouse really shines is its lightness. When I pulled it out of the packaging, it felt like picking up some cotton candy because this is thing is no joke the lightest mouse I've ever utilized. Standard RGB accents (Corsair logo included) make it a fun little accessories and I appreciate that the DPI indicator's light up and make it easy to see if I've modified my DPI settings up or down. Really enjoyed using this mouse and it definitely fits anytime I'm playing Valorant or Apex.

Pro level performance for a beginner budget
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Corsair Sabre Pro Champion Series Gaming mouse is a fantastic mouse for gaming or even just daily use. Everything about it is designed with high-speed reactions in mind; exactly what you want when you are gaming. The ultra-high 8000Hz polling means that the cursor moves the instant you think about it. The QUICKSTRIKE buttons are very satisfying to use; they respond and snapback immediately. The only limiting factor for your click speed is how fast you can move your hand. The Sabre Pro glides effortlessly across the mousepad and has an extremely low liftoff height. The dedicated DPI button is located just below the scroll wheel so it’s easy to reach when you need it. But it is also flush with the mouse so accidental presses aren’t a concern. All 6 buttons are remappable to suit every game or play style. The optical sensor works flawlessly on every surface I tested it on. And you get all of this for an incredibly affordable price. That being said, there are a couple things that I didn’t care for with the Corsair Sabre Pro. I know that one of the main selling points is that it is ultra-light weight, and it definitely is. Honestly, I think that it is too light. I can just barely feel it in my hand when I’m gaming with it. Because of this, it feels chintzy. I want to be super clear about this though. At no point has the Sabre Pro operated in any way other than top tier and I am by no means claiming it’s a low-quality product. It’s just that the lack of heft in any form makes it feel like something is missing. Personally, I’m accustomed to “pro grade” products having a substantial feeling to them and this doesn’t. What is substantial is the amount of hard drive space required for the iCUE software needed to customize the Sabre Pro’s settings. I understand that Corsair has designed this program to integrate with a host of other RGB lighting accessories to create a consolidated lighting ecosystem. However, I only own the mouse. So I’m wasn’t happy to discover I needed to dedicate 758 MB of my hard drive just so I could remap the buttons and adjust the color of the RBG backlighting. I own another gaming mouse and its dedicated software takes up less than a quarter of what iCUE does while offering the same level of mouse customization, if not more so. It is also much more user-friendly and has hundreds of macros pre-installed. But neither of these minor gripes would prevent me from recommending this. The Corsair Sabre Pro Champion Series Gaming mouse is a phenomenal product and will give you tournament levels of performance for entry-level money.
