I'll start by saying I am a loyal Corsair customer and have been for over a decade. In four machines in my house there is not one that doesn't have at least one or two Corsair components. This is the second Corsair PSU I've purchased after a 650HX, and I'm happy with what I received. To keep costs down, this PSU doesn't come with the nice cloth bag to hold your extra cables, and the cable wiring itself is a little thicker/stiffer than my HS, but for 100W more power at $100 less cost, I can handle non-PSU related cost cutting. This PSU went into an older Core2Quad gaming machine which will see about $350-400W pulled peak, and so far I've not heard the fan kick on at all over the case fans. Voltages have remained steady and are just above their rated amounts (which is what you want). Without having it for years it's hard to say it's perfect, but if my track record with previous Corsair equipment is anything to go by, it will far outlast any of my expectations.

Corsair - Cx Series Modular Cx750m

The modular feature of the power supply is very nice, the unit supplies power as expected, and it comes with plenty of cables. However, my unit had a very bad coil whine. This PSU may be good for a budget build, but I found the high pitched whine too irritating. I didn't want to risk exchanging for the same unit and having the same issue, so I opted for the EVGA - SuperNOVA 750W, which is 80 PLUS Gold rated and comes with a 10 yr warranty.

I used this while I waited for a more powerful power supply to ship to me because I spilled a drink on the one I had. It did the job and was easy to set up. I still have it in case I ever need a back up.

    Upgraded from a corsair 450

I upgraded from 450w to this 750w modular power supply and my frames for my games jumped up by 20fps+ (due to the fact I was not getting enough power hay was recommended. [ I have a xfx Radeon rx460 which solely requires 400w minimum] ) Also, I love the fact it's modular, so I don't have a bunch of unused and/or unecessary cords taking up space, thus, creating a cooler environment within my tower. It also provides more power for overclocking, and for future upgrades when needed.

Built a new PC for my daughter and the old 400w power supply I had wasn’t going to cut it. I needed to power a 1660s and didn’t want to go the route of using an adapter. I love that fact that it’s modular and I only use the cables that are needed. It makes cable management simple and clean. All my PSUs are Corsair and I’ve never had an issue with them. Great product line!

The old power supply quit working. I pulled the old one out, slipped this one in, hooked up the wires and it works great. No problems at all. Here is a tip, before disconnecting anything, take a pix with your phone to review.

Good replacement for the faulty PSU, easy hookup. I really appreciated the removable cords, made cord management a lot easier and I didn't have to physically cut anything to make it fit or wind away and tuck extras. Easy install and runs quiet, only with a small white-noise like whurring sound that's easy to tune out. Handles my high-end rig like a dream.

For this price it is durable, provides great power for gaming and any graphics card and CPU. It has 2 8-pin connectors and 4 6-pin connectors which provides for basically any expansion you'll want. However, if you want two graphics cards I would suggest a higher power supply (somewhere 1000 watts).

I wanted to buy a power supply, so I can install Gtx 770 graphics card. I looked over internet, and found out Corsair - CX Series Modular CX750M 750W ATX Power Supply is pretty good. I love it is compact and powerful.

Reviewed a few ps's and this one is right sized for current and expansion builds. Couldn't find it at first because it's not in the computer parts section. The better ps's are in with the games/video cards area. Good quiet ps.

Bought this on a whim but it's working out just fine for me. Enough power to run my MSI mobo, i5-4690k, GTX 970, 16GB memory and a whole mess of fans (5 or 6 case fans plus an H60 liquid cooler from Corsair). Had it for about a month and have a had a few days of heavy gaming with no issues.

My computer blew its old power supply so I need a replacement. This is not top of the line but is nowhere near the bottom. Excellent mid grade replacement. I have used these before on my other systems at the office.

We got this power supply a little over 3 years ago, it pooped out just outside the warranty period. But it worked well while it lasted, and with the modular cables swapping it out for a new one was a breeze. Plus, they extended the warranty period by two years!

Solid PSU - Always Use This Model

I've been using this model from Corsair since before it was called the "CX750M'. I currently use one, and I will probably write another review for how the next one I buy works for my little brother when we get his when we upgrade his 8800 GTS to something a little stronger. This review, however, is for one I helped buy for a friend when he was doing a new build following an older build. He plans to upgrade his 750Ti to a GTX 1080 and change his AMD noname CPU (from when they just named them according to how they ran against Intel CPUs) to a top of the line i7. So far, it has run fine and has been a great upgrade from his HP prebuild 300W fire hazard. I recommend this PSU as a default choice for a one-card one-CPU build (if you are doing i-Series or one Xeon), and if you need something beefier, I always recommend staying with Corsair. In my build, I currently am running an EVGA SSC GTX 970 with an i5-4690K, and I have not had a problem yet. If I planned to overclock and up the power target beyond 100%, I think I would still be comfortable with this PSU. When I go forward with this build and future-proof it with a second SSC GTX 970, I think, if the wattage calculations still stay below 750 with a load, I would STILL trust this PSU.
