My PC components only dissipate around 330W collectively so this 750W should be able to supply the power without issues. Maybe I got a faulty product because I have read that this brand is reputable. I upgraded to a RM 750W.

Best Buy was great about the whole process. I'm not thrilled with Corsair though. The first power supply would run fine for 8-16 minutes, then would restart for no apparent reason. Since this was a new build, I tried memory and motherboard first, then ultimately found the issue by swapping out power supplies with a spare. Sure enough, the brand new Corsair CX750M was failing under light load ( just the Windows 10 desktop with no applications running). A power supply tester found no trouble, but it couldn't put any load on the power supply. I returned the 1st power supply to Best Buy for a replacement and the replacement works fine. I wish that I had my time and effort back that I spent troubleshooting the faulty one. For the expense of this unit, I would expect much better quality control. Therefore, I can't give it any good points for value or quality.
