To accommodate the PNY - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 2GB that I purchased, also, from Best Buy, I needed a power supply to replace my existing 350 watt unit.. After researching I selected the CX750M because of ratings and its modular configuration. While installing the power supply was a bit more difficult than the YouTube video I watched, I had no problems. With modular one only uses the cables needed instead of dealing with a bulky harness and wires. The CX750M is quiet, uses 25% less power and good value.

    7+ years and going strong

    - Going strong since 2014 in a PC I've upraged 3 times. - This PSU is very reliable and has definitely surpassed its warranty by a few years. - It's so quiet you can't even hear it and it rarely collects any dust. - I first built my pc back in 2014 and was powering an EVGA GTX 760 gpu with an i7-4770 cpu. Roughly 3 years later in 2017 I upgraded to an EVGA 1070 FTW and an i7-8700K. Jump to 1 month ago July 2021 I now have an EVGA RTX 3060TI FTW and an i7-10700K that it's continuing to power along side 3 ssd's and 2 hdd's.

I bought this power supply to upgrade my old, worn out supply. I also needed a PS with longer cables since I upgraded to a full atx case. This power supply fit the bill! Install was a breeze and cables were plenty long enough. Just installed it today so I can't comment on the longevity of it. Buy it, you won't regret it.

This is definitely one of those PSUs you get to last. With 750W of power supply, this unit will support much more than the average PC build could ever demand. It is 80 Plus Bronze, but as my experience with Corsair-brand equipment has been nothing short of amazing and long-lasting I will definitely say that this rating from Corsair would be the equivalent of a Gold rating from other brands in reliability. I definitely recommend this PSU to anyone building a PC, so long as you aren't SLI'ing two 1080 Ti's and powering an i7 extreme along with that.

I had to purchase this to upgrade my son's gaming machine; we added a new graphics card and needed the extra power this provided. It fit in his Lenovo desktop with no issue and runs quietly and the fan really moves the air so heat is not an issue.

Easy to install. It's heavy telling you that's its quality. The only thing during the installation I did not like. Was the fact that they tell you it has 8 SATA CONNECTORS, there are 2 strings of 4 so you have to plan you cable management. I have put this thing under a good load and its holding up. It's not getting hot. I can't say much about the fan because I have so many on my tower to hear it. System setup AMD FX 8320 Asus m5a99fx pro R 2.0 10gb DDR3 1600 Nvidia gtx550 ti (175watt) Corsair h80i water cooler 2 DVD rw 6 fans And 6 UBS devices drawing power from the power supply So I still have room to expand if I need to.

    Great Power Supply

I bought this for the new build, works great and being that it is modular the cable management is cleaner. I do have 1 thing to comment on, not an issue as I gave this PS a 5 star rating. With my build/case setup, I added 4 additional case fans for intake. Being that these were added to the already 3 case fans, there were no remaining 3 pin case fan slots on the motherboard. This power supply does come with peripheral cables that end in a female molex, but it is up to you to purchase the cable that can hook these up to the remaining 3 pin fan power cables. Again, not a huge issue, just make sure you do your research on ALL of your cables before you say to yourself, "I'm all done gathering the parts, now time for the build." Again, great PS definitely a go to brand.
