My brother in law bought a new high end computer with a ridiculous 300 watt power supply and he wanted me to move the hard drive and dvd burner from his old computer to the new one so he would have 2 of each. His new system would not have had the power to support that so I bought him this 750 watt so he would never have to worry about power again.

When I upgraded my PC with a new CPU and motherboard, I found it wouldn't start. A little investigating revealed that I had exceeded the limits of the 400-watt PSU that came with it. The Corsair 750-watt unit came at a great price, so it was an easy decision to make. It has more than enough power than I'll ever use in this particular machine, so I'm quite happy.

I needed larger power supply. This did the trick. Works well, was easy to install.

Bought this power supply because the one that came with my prebuilt was defective. So far I’ve had no issues with it. It’s been a few weeks running it basically 24/7 on standby. No issues with fan noise and it provides plenty of power for when I upgrade my components later on.

Comes with everything you need. Almost silent operation. I couldn't be happier.

I've been running mine for two months now, no issues at all. Not much else to say, it's a power supply. The permanently attached cables have like a mesh wrap over them in black, and the cables inside the wrap are also black; the modular cables included in the box do not have the mesh wrap, but are black as well.

I upgraded to this power supply to expand my storage and rgb capabilities on my tower. It's modular design made it easy to setup all the components on my additions. I have additional ports available for future use as I continue to customize my system. Installation was easy, haven't had any issues or errors.

Super quiet and I only have to connect the cables I need so it keeps my case neat.

Corsair has a very good track record with their power supplies, and the CX series are an excellent example. This CX750M features modular cables, and a quiet fan. The cables are flat and easy to flex. It's very easy to accomplish a clean, professional-looking installation with this power supply. Capable of supporting dual high-end graphics cards, with a total of four 8-pin (6+2) PCI-E connectors. Highly recommended!

It's a fairly standard atx semi-modular power supply. I will say that I prefer that there are black flat cables for the modular portion, rather than the bulkier cables you get with non-modular power supplies. Other than that Corsair is a reliable brand so there's little worry this will fry your machine.

4x pci-e 6+2 connectors so you can sli any two graphics cards and 750watts should be enough to power your rig if you are not running more than two graphica cards. Fans are relatively quiet to me... all the case fans ive owned have definitely louder. I think this was a good purchase but i have only had it for a week so but I feel like this wad a good purchase.

A lot more power than standard PS. Various cables makes it very flexible.
