I wanted to love the dark core SE, but it had one major flaw out of the box ... BUT FIRST! the good stuff I like the design, the features, that 5 button thumb setup, easy DPI switching, general feel. I'm a claw grip user, not a palm mouse user, but I was making the switch to give such a well-reviewed and fully featured wireless mouse a shot. I'm also using a wireless Corsair headset so that's one less piece of bloatware for me to install and manage. But there's a dealbreaker for me .. Every time I power my PC on and off the Corsair iCUE software forgets my custom settings for the mouse. I can turn the mouse and off as much as I like, and it will never fix it. In order to restore your custom settings you have to remove and reinsert the wireless USB connector. This is straight trash, and I can't believe that there hasn't been a software or firmware update to address this. I looked around on multiple forums and this is a very common problem. In the end I plugged it into my front panel because it made repeatedly removing and plugging the dongle back in more convenient, but I hate having that slot permanently populated by something that could easily be hidden away on the rear IO. No matter what i did I couldn't get the iCUE software to save my custom setup directly to the mouse itself, or are the very least it didn't take. So in the end the mouse was returned. Pros - wireless, no noticeable lag, good battery life, great sensor, RGB (if that's your thing), comfortable Cons - doesn't remember your settings ... ever

Got this in preparation for a gaming pc. haven't gotten the tower yet so I have only used this my Mac and works fine. feels smooth. I just thought that I would really like the right side pinky extension but after having it , it came straight off. one down side to place to store USB adapter .

I heard a lot of people talking about issues with reception on this mouse. I have not had any connection issues with the mouse at all. I have the receiver connected to my keyboard which probably helps. I was looking at the Logitech G903 vs this one and couldn't justify almost twice the price for almost just as solid a performer.

It's smooth and quick reaction time. Lights display is a plus

Nice mouse and I got it for a fair price on sale. My only complaint is it needs to be charged frequently. You can atleast still use it while it charges through usb

This mouse is right next to me as I write this review. It is rechargeable with a USB cord and holds a charge for a long time. I never have to pay for and replace batteries. It also is very comfortable to use.
