Nice Companion to the K95 or any K series RGB KB

Purchased this and the K95 keyboard (not as a bundle). The reason i purchase this was to have a wireless mouse that could also change colors that felt nice in the hand. Also wanted something with a good DPI range (get to that later)
The RGB option is nice because it allows me to visually see what mode i'm in when in certain applications, or a visual indicator of what configuration mode i'm in for certain actions. Terrible to say i purchased this for development work and not so much for play (although it does both QUITE WELL).
The precision of the optics makes it nice for when i am needing fine movements in Maya, Max or Autodesk software and it can be adjusted at the click of a button That was exactly what i wanted but also the RGB made it fit in nice with the whole look and feel of the desk pad, keyboard and desk in general.
**(I know your probably thinking what the heck is his desk a giant LED?!?, no its a glass desk and the there is a RGB large mouse pad that the keyboard and mouse set on. Did this so i can see the desk at night and use the keyboard and mouse without needing to have the bright lights on)
The only cons are batter life, which is short compared to most non RGB wireless mouse. BUT this one looks way better and it has QI charging. With The Corsair QI pad i just leave it in the corner and voilà it is done and fully charged every time i need it.
you can also have it connected via usb cable (charge and use) and that actually works fine too. It really does give you the best of both worlds in my opinion.
Overall great Mouse!

Terrible battery life

This mouse wirelessly charges, which is a interesting feature, but the way it works requires you to stop using it and remember to put it on a specific spot to charge. If you forget to do so, you'll likely come back to a dead mouse with just a couple days of use. This is not a light mouse by any means, so the fact that this mouse lasts for maybe 16 hours between charges with RGB lights on really makes it confusing as to how the such a big mouse ended up with such a small battery. I now just use it as a wired mouse, permanantly connected via a charging micro-usb cable.
Performance wise, cant complain though, when it actually works as a mouse, it works well.

So gonna be a lot easier to list the cons of this mouse instead of the pros since it is a great mouse. However, my issues are that I have a small hand and this mouse isn’t exactly made for the way I tend to hold a mouse. My ring and pinky finger usually just clings to the side of the mouse and most mice on the market have indentions to hold these fingers but this one does not so makes my ring and pinky finger feel a bit odd. Also I can’t comfortable reach the side buttons with my thumb either. However, this being the only wireless mouse from Corsair, don’t really have a choice lol
If you have small hands and not a Corsair fanboy then I’d recommend a different mouse, otherwise you won’t regret it :)

Wife saw this mouse in the store and wanted one so it became a Christmas gift. She absolutely loves that it changes colors. She works at a laptop all day and says that she enjoys the colors.
One negative thing is that it does not stay wireless for too long. I believe she said she used it for an 8 hour day and the next day she had to plug it in to her laptop.
The mouse is great if you're not looking for something wireless and changes colors.. If you need to work using a wireless mouse, this guy will drain your battery life in a day. Keep it corded or on a battery charged pad or be prepared to buy a lot of batteries!

I love this mouse! It fits my hand pretty well, and with it being wireless, it makes for pleasant experience. I do have sort of large hands and play with palm grip.
The only down side I would say this mouse has is the back and forward button. They sit in front of and behind the sniper (thumb) button and you have to move your thumb quite a bit to hit the button by the front of the mouse.
Other than that, it is a great mouse!

Bought this mouse for increased precision and customization of dpi. I own a mac and play games on the mac, so i was glad the device supports mac users. The only downside I have about the mouse is that the battery dies in a day or 2 if you leave it on, so be sure to turn it off. I also work with the mouse as a developer, so it's in use almost everyday.

Solid gaming mouse. Qi charging not great

Bought this specifically for the Qi charging, since I already use that for other devices and have a charger on my desk. I didn't want to get an extra special overpriced "charging mousepad" because why would I? Seems silly to trade one cord on your desk for another, despite the 'mouse' not being wired.
Alas, as soon as I set the mouse down on my Qi desk charger (which works perfectly with literally every other device I use it with), it didn't connect the wireless charging. Maybe it was a defective mouse, but if the Qi system doesn't work reliably, that's a no go for me.
Picked up the Logitech G502 wireless and never looked back. The dream of a Qi charge-able mouse is still alive, but it's not there yet.
PS the forward side button is hard to reach and clunky. Otherwise, as a gaming mouse is smooth and feels good in the hand. Wireless works great. Software is not user friendly at first but is not nearly as complicated as some reviews portray. Works fine if you take a moment to learn it.

This mouse is pretty lightweight and the textures feel great. I use this with the mm1000 mousepad with built in wireless charging and it's super convenient. My one complaint is that the battery doesn't last all that long compared to some other wireless mice I've used previously, but I suppose that's a fair trade off in the interest of saving weight.

I can tell that it will take a good while to get used to this beast of a mouse, it feels twice the size of my old M55 but it's only a little larger.
First off, absolutely make sure you update the firmware before doing anything. Without that update the cursor skips and jumps a ton.
Second, it feels terrible on a cloth surface, but great on a solid surface. Which is good since I would never use this without a mousepad without wireless charging.
The battery life seems to be fine for day to day use, just let it charge while you take breaks or watch something.
Pretty solid mouse, worth the cost. Could be a little less massive in the beefy chonker department for sure, but then switching from anything you had gotten used too will take some time to get comfortable. Not that it is uncomfortable at all, just new.

This mouse works wonderfully, it glides across my desk and the dpi can be changed with the button on the side, but it is misleading about the button count, as 1 isn't programmable I dont think, and 2 are the right and left click buttons. But the quality is high end nonetheless.

Comfortable and precise mouse for wireless game play. Response time is quick and holds a charge for hours of game play. Can plug in and use like a wired mouse while charging or set it on a wireless charger when not using like I do. Multiple programmable buttons for easy use. Requires Corsair ICUE to update, change RGB, and fully setup. I have 2 now, one for travel with Laptop and one for my HTPC.

I feel this paired with the wireless charging mat is definitely a superior experience. Owning the mouse by itself the battery life is not long enough with the RGB on to justify. And let's be real, you bought an RGB mouse, you want to use it.

It started off as a great mouse. However now I have noticed while plugged in to charge it randomly disconnect causing the mouse to go dead. The iCue software is meh, button mapping is difficult. Razer and logitech's software is just much easier to use.
The universal wireless charging is a great feature as it allows me to charge the mouse when pc is off.
I won't give this device less than 3 stars as I think much of the issues can be fixed in software/ firmware patch. I am not sure i can recommend this though.

Overall, it’s a really nice and comfortable mouse to have for gaming and everyday use. The only and most frustrating issue I’ve had since using this the last couple months is it frequently disconnecting and freezing up randomly. Of all my Corsair products, it’s been the most frustrating when dealing with firmware and software issues. It’s great I feel for portable gaming and not so much desktop use until they resolve the freezing/disconnection issues. Other than my rant on the software, I’ve had a great experience when it does work without issue.

The mouse is everything you want it to be, the only complaint I have is the a wireless battery dies quit fast (a day or less). If you have a Qi charger that can solve that though if you prefer wireless.

Meaty mouse which is good it feels good in the hands. My hands arent big. It has a lot of buttons sometimes easy to push especially the side scropping buttons because typically your thumb rests there. RGB lights are pretty meh but its nenough if you want anice effect. I also like you can use it wired, wirelessly via usb dongle or bluetoth. I like options. There also a DPI controller on the side to adjust senstively for moving the mouse (good for game play) however I have also used with photoshop.

This Corsair-Dark Core SE Wireless Gaming 9 button Optical Mouse with RGB Lighting and QI Wireless Charging in Black was just as futuristic as the keyboard panel. The switches on the mouse I believe are about 12 and still learning that there’re more. Again it alone with the keyboard was a gift for my eight year old for Christmas. They work together like you wouldn’t believe. I cut out all the lights and it looks like we’re in a classified station at NASA. And his game has improved 200%. People that he plays with are getting 3 kills and he’s getting 10-12. They’re embarrassed when they find out that he’s only eight years old and that he has this kind of equipment to play on. Defeat by age doesn’t matter.
