I have owned two Corsair keyboards. The K65 RGB and the K65 RGB LUX. Both are very good for gaming and great for a gamer that plays FPS on a serious level. You will rarely if ever miss the numpad. But the extra space you get with it gone, for your mouse? Forget about it! So many of us are working with limited desk space, it makes it hard to lower your mouse dpi so you can aim and track better in games like Overwatch. This keyboard gives us a bit more room for mouse movement. So if your desk has limited real estate for your mouse? Look no further. Add in the fact that the keyboard is wonderful. The software is easy and comes with a lot of preset color settings. The LUX comes with a key puller and some extra textured gaming keys is also very nice. The LUX also has the rear facing USB port. Who can't use an extra USB port that's easy to get too? Love keyboard!

Sensitive, does not occupy much space , customizable backlight which is very cool

This keyboard is great. The cherry mx red keys feel very nice, not too hard to press but a solid clack. The RGB coloring is a nice touch as well. Overall I am very satisfied with the keyboard. The only reason I rate it 4/5 is because the software is not very straitfoward unless you YouTube some tutorials.

The lighting sequences are awesome, highly customizable.

I was needing a new keyboard for a while and since I was getting into gaming I said what the heck, and got this. The LED's are amazing. Very bright at the highest mode, and dim at the lowest. Great feel of the keys and just overall amazing.

I was looking for a high quality gaming keyboard that would fit my small desk. The Corsair - Gaming K65 RGB Mechanical Keyboard was the perfect fit. Everything from the visual aesthetics to the form factor made this one of the best computer related investments I could make. 10/10 would recommend.

It has been awesome so far. I love that it lights up many different colors and is programmable. It also gives me that satisfying click noise every time I type. I purchased this keyboard model because it did't have the number keypad, leaving this with a smaller profile. LOVE IT.

I absolutely love everything about this keyboard! The aesthetics, the feeling, the colors, the customization it has been a great purchase. I only wish it had a number pad but at least it is small and compact which is nice for when i want to have the keyboard on my lap.

One note before my review: If you're having issues with the keyboard loading on system start up; with USB 3 you only need to have the keyboard cable plugged in. (It comes with dual cables for older USB 2 systems which need both). That being said: This keyboard has it all! The Cherry switches feel great (and sound great if you're into that). Every key can be customized for color and function. The Corsair software that comes with it seems to be very lightweight and easy to use. If you're looking to save space, or just want a smaller keyboard (for gaming) you won't be disappointed.

Yes the design is sturdy and current. Yes the keyboard works as planned and will likely last until we decide to change it. No, its not worth the 129 it sells for. While mechanical, the switches feel heavy and for lack of a better word, spongy. Yes, I am a Blue switch fanboy. Especially the blue switches as implemented on the Razor circa 2010(ish) Blackwidow Elite Plus. There has never been a better keyboard than that one. That said, this corsair keyboard is too small to be useful for day to day desktop operations but is nicely sized for the WASD needs. If you like the "clicky" style mechanical keyboards do not go for these red switches. In spite of a bad purchase here my daughter did not want to return it and continues to use it so its not entirely unusable.

While not a bestbuy exclusive, this keyboard doesn't seem to be available elsewhere online. The durability and precision of this keyboard is excellent, but that's not what will excite you about this product. Its the LIGHTS!-and being able to customize them to your preference. Want to make a starburst every time you hit the keys?-CHECK! Want to make a Christmas theme?-CHECK! The lights are limited to only your artistic expression. Is this keyboard a bit pricey?.. Yes but for what you get for your $: Cherry mechanical switches-16 million colors,etc. I have not thought twice since my purchase.

Aside from the obvious purpose built layout, the light schemes are phenomenal. We bought the complete RGB set. The administration software make it easy to program the action keys and lighting scheme. Did I mention the outstanding lighting? :)

I've been using this keyboard for quite a while now and am loving every minute of it! The software may seem intimidating at first but actually gets relatively easy after watching a few videos. I love this keyboard and would recommend it to anyone!!!

I wanted a simple, clean, TKL keyboard that was backit. This keyboard is beautifully simple, except for the cheap logo on the top. If you're a gamer, this keyboard is amazing. I'm more of a typist, so the cherry MX reds didn't really fit my style. Beautiful backlighting effects, AFTER you learn how to use the software.

Pro's love the unlimited color capabilities. very durable, very nice feel. fast response. click less. heavy aluminum case means it does not slide around. I am a heavy gamer, so it takes a lot of abuse. love it con's miss the number pad but worth it. needs a row of programmable/macro keys. had to reload the control panel twice (stopped responding to settings) but that is the only problem I have had so far. running windows 10. on an AMD and ASUS motherboard. 3 Monitors

This is so easy to hookup and use!!! Go to their website and download the appropriate app and voilà!! It's awesome with the fluctuating colors!! My son loves the touch!! Very happy with this purchase!

The keyboard works great just like it should. Would recommend for anyone interested. Taking off one star because the software to control the leds is a little wacky. Works when it wants to and have to restart it for it to work correctly.
