I was looking for a good mechanical keyboard to help with my typing accuracy. The gaming keyboards are one of the few options available. I originally picked the Razor, but returned it after noticing how much the different font and having the symbols below the numbers threw me off. The Corsair is much better with a standard font and key labeling. The ability to light up the keys is nice and configurable. The main thing I noticed that the Razor did not do is handle a Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) switch that I use at my desk for both my Mac Book Pro and Windows desktop systems. That keyboard would not work until I plugged it into one system directly. The Corsair gave directions about how to use a USB 2.0 port and plug the other USB connection to an AC/USB plug to provide additional power for the LED lights. With this setup I can switch back and forth with my Mac and Windows systems. On the Mac I run the open source CKB driver, so I can have the keyboard light up differently depending on which system it is pointing to. I like typing on the mechanical keyboard, but it is a little louder especially on conference calls.

The RGB controls are amazing! you can download tons of profiles, i only wish they made this keyboard with blue switches

I've tried out all kinds of mechanical keyboards and this one takes the cake for the price. I debated on whether or not 10key was important to me but decided I didn't need it taking up the extra desk real estate. The programming software has gotten a lot better than its initial release and it's really nice being able to program each individual key's color and function. The clicky sound is also very satisfying without being too loud (like the Razer counterparts).

This keyboard is capable of so much. You can't go wrong by purchasing this. If your a gamer , this is a must have!

I love mechanical keys. I use this for all my gaming. The backlit keys and editing the different colors are great.

First new mechanical keyboard sense the early 90's. I'm only 31. I do miss the number pad sometimes in games that require it. I have 3 dogs so my house is continuously dusty and this keyboard is easily cleaned by taking the key caps off; that was one of the features I was looking for. The keyboard has Cherry MX Red switches. I wanted Cherry MX Brown switches which Best Buy does not sell that I have found, but the K65 is a Best Buy Exclusive which is stupid not to offer both.

I had been eyeing this keyboard for a while. I finally decided to buy it and was happy up until I noticed that the lights kept freezing if I left them on the rainbow setting. I decided that the keyboard performed so well that I could tolerate the freezing for a bit longer. Finally Corsair released a patch and the LED lighting works beautifully now. I'm totally satisfied with my purchase and would gladly recommend this keyboard to all my friends.

This keyboard is very cool. Lots of different keyboard lighting displays.Fun to watch! Only issue is key clicks are somewhat loud.
