Great mechanical keyboard. Keys sit on a flat surface making it much easier to clean.

While Corsair's software is terrible, I don't need to use it for this keyboard. The quality build is good and the amount of buttons for a compact is nice. Other than the software causing me issues this is a great product.

I bought this keyboard as a replacement for my cheap membrane keyboard and it worked great. the key travel was butter smooth and has a satisfying click as well. You have the ability to customize the RGB with corsair's software or flick a switch to a competition mode that disables macros. Only downside (and its not really a downside, just wasn't my preference) is that the keys are very sensitive. if you rest your fingers slightly on some keys while you're typing or playing a game, it will register them. if you want a slightly less sensitive keyboard, get the k70 TKL with the cherry mx speed switches instead (that's what i actually did). slightly more travel and less sensitive when my fingers rest on keys, but still just as satisfying of a click and just as usable.

I was skeptical initially, but after i played warzone two and mw2, i realized that the keyboard is fast and responsive for playing fps games.

I thought I would have issues with no 10 key on the keyboard, but that is not the case. Keyboard is perfect size and the response is so fast.

Pro: -Light and portable -Speed switch -Remap any keys -On board profiles Cons: -No wrist rest The keyboard has a metal backplate but still feels lighter than other keyboards of the same size despite its thickness. The thin braided cable is detachable, and little bulk around the body, makes it easily portable. The volume wheel is free spinning and doesn’t have any notches, but does have some friction to it. The base is a bit tall so I wished it had a wrist pad that can be attached. There’s a lock at the top of the keyboard to quickly lock the macros and lighting. The linear speed switch will take some getting used to. The activation is very sensitive and even brushing your fingers on the keys can trigger it. I found myself making a lot of accidental presses, but it’s probably great for light handed or touch typists. The keycaps have a sharp edge to them so sometimes I would snag the edge and accidentally press a key. The RGB is bright with minimal bleeding. All the texts and symbols are lit evenly. The colors are accurate with transitions and gradients looking very good. Within the iCue app, you can assign lighting and key assignments and store them to the on board profiles. Pretty much all the keys can be remapped or set to macros, which is super convenient. The lightning has many different effects which can be layered and combined for really cool results. Other than not having an included wrist pad, there’s little to complain about this keyboard. The speed switch is sensitive and may not be suited to some people's preference. It’s sturdy, light and portable, with dedicated media controls. The RGB are bright with accurate colors. All the keys being able to be remapped is a huge plus. If you have light fingers or fast reflex, this keyboard will serve you well.
Good keyboard for the price. Purchased for my cousin on their birthday.

Optical keyboards are prone to stray characters when you rest your fingers on them, but once you learn to type with a very light touch, are great for reducing strain and productive typing. Overall, the K70 optical is my favorite keyboard. Compared to the Huntsman V1 - K70 has smoother and quieter switches while being just as responsive, if not a little more so. (Compared to the Huntsman V2, the K70 is more responsive at 1mm vs 1.5mm actuation distance.) Also, the K70 has standard keycaps, whereas the Huntsman uses non-standard stabilizers, limiting flexibility. Compared to the Keychron K3 - K70 is slightly less smooth, but more responsive. The K3 is actually a bit on the mushy side. Compared to a GMMK Pro with Kailh Silvers - K70 is noisier but more responsive. I do prefer the GMMK Pro's form factor, which is a bit smaller than TKL. Compared to the Steelseries Apex Pro - I haven't tried this keyboard (I think I would like it), but it has large LEDs that make it incompatible with smaller keycaps.

The keys have a slight pinging noise (I have the opx linear switches) which can be a bit annoying if you're in a very quiet room, and the iCue software can be somewhat difficult to use, but those are the the only issues I've had with it and it looks and feels very nice in my opinion. 4.5/5

Bought this keyboard to replace Logitech keyboard with keys coming off. Very happy with this well made keyboard. Looks like it will last longer than the Logitech but time will tell.

Purchased this for my son, mainly for playing games using mouse and keyboard. He said he likes it. Both connected with no issues and are working reliably.

Corsair’s K70 RGB TKL is an ideal keyboard for serious gamers. Out of the box, this keyboard looks and feels quality. Plastic frame and brushed aluminum top plate is rigid and stylish. Detachable USB-C to USB-A cable is braided. Large rubber feet ensure the keyboard stays planted on the desk, height adjustment feet click positively in place and are rubberized. Cherry MX Speed switches are linear with very low actuation force. Rated for over 100 million keystrokes. The ideal keyswitch for the competitive gamer. Corsair’s AXON processing technology allows a polling rate up to 8000hz. This feature is only available on a desktop connection through Corsair’s ICUE software. Although the polling rate is 8x faster than 1000hz, the current standard for keyboards; the end user won’t tell a difference. Keyboard boasts full n-key rollover, indicating it can register all keys being pressed simultaneously. Programmable per-key RGB lighting looks stylish. PBT double-shot keycaps are textured nicely and are built to last. Keycaps are removable as well. Media keys are tactile and include profile, brightness, and win-key lock buttons. Volume wheel does not spin freely and has a rough spot when spinning. “Tournament switch” disables macros and changes key lighting to a solid color. The default is red, but the color can be changed through the ICUE software. 8mb of onboard storage can store up to 50 profiles with macros and RGB lighting effects. Macro programming, firmware updates, device settings, and lighting are all controlled through Corsair’s ICUE program. Overall, you can’t go wrong with the Corsair K70 RGB TKL.

Enjoyed the optical switches and the media keys are awesome. I needed a smaller keyboard so I went with the K70 and it does everything.

The Corsair K70 RGB TKL is a great mechanical gaming keyboard if you're in the market for a smaller more compact design. I love how portable this is without having the 10 key pad, and that its connected through usb-c. Just having the option to replace the cord alone is a godsend. The keys are great, they're very tactile and super responsive. You can have up to an 8000 Hz polling rate for when you need the absoute quickest response time on your inputs. The overall design and feel of the K70 keyboard is good. Everything looks and feels premium for a gaming keyboard. All of the RGB lighting and profile features for the keyboard are customizable through the iCue software and youre able to setup different settings so that if you have other Corsair RGB products then you can have them all work together in harmony, and be the exact same colors across the board. I greatly appreciate the dedicated media buttons and a volume scroll bar along the top of the keyboard, because having ease of access to those functions as a person that likes to listen to music while gaming or working on projects in photoshop is an absolute must for me. In all I am very pleased with the performance of the Corsair K70 RGB TKL and I would highly recommended this keyboard for any gaming that needs to save a little space or wants to travel.
