If your looking for a fast paced keyboard for that edge in gaming competition then this is right for you. Sure it's expensive, but do the research, it maybe worth it for you. I have since upgraded to the K95, since it was practically the same price, but the K70 is no sleeper. RGB on throughout he keys are gorgeous and the software is easy to navigate through. You will not be disappointed, in fact "Thank me Later".

I love this keyboard. Its not super loud and it is very accurate. The keys respond quickly and CSGO is a breeze. Typing isnt bad at all as the key are very easy to press and the wrist rest is smooth and comfortable.

I previously used a Dell membrane keyboard for over 5 years before this. After finally fighting with that freakishly $150 price tag, I don't regret it. The typing experience is simply amazing at best due to the Cherry MX Speed switches having a 1.2 mm actuation with smooth and fast rebounds for quick typing. Gaming was also great simply because of the switch and realized my hands had less fatiugue unless my previous keyboard. My only gripes with this keyboard would be its loud noise, almost as loud as the infamous cherry MX blue switches. If you are worried about noise, I recommend going with the Corsair Strafe RGB has those have the MX Silent switches. I also have problems with the CUE software as it is somewhat confusing at first and needs to be running in order for the keyboard to work. The build and design is simply amazing however with its aluminum base plate and the wrist pad is a nice touch. If you have the money and want the best keyboard for gaming and even typing, go with the K70 Rapidfire.

What can you not like about this keyboard. It is RGB and has tons of effects. You can create them yourself, the possibilities are endless. If you are a fan of linear switches you will like these MX Speed switches. They take less pressure to actuate the key and the distance is almost half of the MX Cherry Reds. The feel of the keys are top notch and feel like it is built to last. I love the brushed aluminum frame and the extra usb port on top. It lacks macro keys, but you can program each key if you wanted to. I don't like the thick cable but it is definitely high quality. Not a fan of the font, but I got used to it. The keys are really loud, but I like it :). The Corsair Cue software takes time to get used to, but it works when you understand it. Aside from these things, it is a great keyboard. These keys will take some getting used to because they don't take much to activate. I love love love this keyboard. .:Verdict:. BUY

Very Nice Keyboard - Good Value

This was a surprise for my sons. They play a lot of games and a mechanical keyboard is better for that. This one has very responsive keys, and the ability to color code each letter on the keyboard or apply many different color effects. It also comes with some grey key caps for the W A S D keys. Those are handy for gamers. I typed on several different keyboards, and I like the feel of this one best for everyday typing. The keys have good spacing between them. I also like the media controls and their placement on this keyboard, and the cord has a premium quality feel. The cord requires 2 USB ports, so you should know that. Some people say this won't work with a KVM switch, but as long as your KVM has 2 USB ports this will work fine. I also bought a Corsair mouse to go with this, and I plug the mouse into the USB passthrough on the keyboard, so it works really well. The software is cool too. My only complaint is that the keyboard doesn't light up until after it finishes loading the user profile and software. My old keyboard was lit a BIOS boot, which I thought was better.

This is my first gaming keyboard and I am impressed! I did a lot of research on keyboards and this one kept coming up as one of the best. I half to agree! First of all the RGB lighting is impressive. You get a lot of options when you download the FREE software form Corsair.com. You can use the presets or program whatever pattern you want. The keyboard is very responsive, but it is a little tricky at first. Standard noise for a mechanical keyboard. The font on the keys is awesome and very easy to see. Great for gaming and casual users. I highly recommend this keyboard.

This is my second Corsair Mechanical Keyboard. I love them. This one has Cherry MX Speed switches. Gaming and typing on it feels great. The number lighting combinations are very impressive, though I do wish the Corsair Utility Engine was a bit easier to use. The keyboard has media controls, a Windows lock button, and a button to adjust the level of brightness for the keys. The included wrist rest coated in soft rubber is comfortable. My previous Corsair keyboard didn't have one, and I'm glad this one does. The cable is braided, and this keyboard has USB passthrough which is a tiny feature that I love and can't live without. The removable keycaps are of high quality make. It is expensive, but you're getting a quality product with a good set of features.

Very attractive, sleek and sophisticated. I really enjoy how you can set up each individual key with different color schemes. The wrist guard is very well made and feels better than any other keyboard I have ever used. If I were to complain about anything it is that keystrokes are very loud like, don't do homework while everyone in the house is sleeping loud.

Straight to the point: Pros: -Amazing customization options with Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) -Bright, vibrant colors -Sensitive, easy to press mechanical keys -Fast and responsive for gaming. -Compact enough to fit on workstations. Cons: -CUE has a lot of bugs (not a problem with keyboard, but required for customization options) -Uses 2 USB ports which may be cumbersome for some PC's with limited port access. Summary: I have no real complaints for this board, I really enjoy using it and it's a perfect addition to my RGB gaming system. Would be happy to answer any questions about this product.

MX Speed Switch Just Fine For My Typing Work

I almost didn't get this keyboard for my work-at-home job due to "bad for typing" reviews, but I had already ordered the K95 RGB Platinum MX Speed keyboard for my gaming rig, and I really wanted to use the same keys for work and games, to synchronize the feel and thus be more efficient in both areas. So I took a chance ($50 off helped) and bought this day before my K95 arrived to test out the keys on my business computer - it works great! I like it better than the Razer Greens, MX Blues and Romer Gs I've used on my work computer before. The MX Speed keys were a nice touch and feel for me right out of the box. Keyboards and mice are a personal preference. For instance, I use a DeathAdder Elite for both work and gaming because it fits my hand like a glove. Mice and keyboards are a personal choice. You might not like the Speeds like I do. But you have to try it for yourself - you might like it.

Love this keyboard. Mechanical keys make it great for gaming and love that I can customize the color layout of every key. Even if you aren't inclined to do that, the built in color templates are great.

Disclaimer: mom PC GAMER REVIEW. I like the feel. The lights are fun. The rapidfire switches can be a little sensitive BUT you don't miss an entry from a single stroke lol. Be mindful of typos for that reason. The price was a bit much for my use, especially for a board without macro buttons... I may upgrade to the K95 to get them.

Let's be honest...a keyboard is a keyboard and unless you're trying to win a typing competition or are still making plans to become a professional pc gamer for the fifth year in a row while griping that you'd have made it already if you could just find a better team, they don't vary too greatly. This keyboard stands out because of the fancy colors. The slow changing of hues is rather soothing and the various options for color settings are nice to have when i'm not FEELING a yellow, today, and would prefer a red to go with my dinner. Also, it's a great gaming keyboard, or so my gamer husband says, but I like the colors, best.

The first thing of course is the colors. The how you can program them. The most important thing is the use and operation. It has a definite positive feel, I love the positive click when you depress the keys. It reacts extremely fast. I had to get used to the keyboard when playing games. You get a fast response, and it really makes gaming, especially FPS, really fun. I definitely recommend this keyboard for anyone.

Just built a new PC, and was looking for additional peripherals. Love Corsair products as they are always of the highest quality. This keyboard did not disappoint. Keys are extremely responsive. Lighting effects (RGB) are a plus, but not the reason I purchase it. Corsair Utility software is extremely user friendly, and easy to sync across other Corsair peripherals (i.e. mouse, headset, mouse pad, etc.)
