Excellent 1k Certified Gold modular PSU with plenty of cables and slots for all your video cards, hard drives, cpus. Has worked flawlessly in my setup

As with most Corsair products I've purchased, this power supply feels well-made. I'm unlikely to have much use for the cheap draw-string bag it came in, but the velcro flap pouch for the modular cables seems like a good way to keep them together if you're not immediately using all of them: because YOU MUST NOT INTERCHANGE MODULAR CABLES. Apparently, there is not a "standard" pinout for these: so do not assume that cables from a different modular supply will work, or you might end up replacing hard drives or even your mainboard. (I'd seen the custom kits for people who want to add color by swapping out their cables for fancy ones, and mistakenly thought that meant that I could avoid wrecking my neat cable management job. 16TB of cooked drives, a dead burner, and one frotzed GIGABYTE board later, it is NOT a mistake I'll make again.)

The RMx line is an extremely high tier build quality model, picked up the 1000w to make sure I could run a 3080. Haven't been able to get one so maybe the 3080TI will be more obtainable when/if it releases. Haven't had enough load for the fan to kick on so its dead silent, ended up replacing the stock cables for custom individual sleeved cable mod cables, everything looks and works great and have a 10 year warranty peace of mind.

All the power you’ll ever need, quiet, cool. Also easy to feel power switch when reaching for it blind.

This thing is almost silent and comes with just about every cable you could want under the sun.

The fans don't spin unless absolutely needed this thing is so quiet I thought it wasn't working but it really does. For the price and capability, it's worth it. Not worth it for SLI setups or crossfire but who uses these combos anymore other than to show off their rigs? Handles any GPU you throw at it. Would buy again for new build. I only trust this brand for PSU. Best buy had the best sale deals so I picked this up in store.

So far so good. Needed a little more power in my video rig and this fit the bill. Added a set of cable mod replacement cables to meld w/ the build (nerdy, I know). The primary goal for this is a quite PSU. Since the fan isn't supposed to engage unless the load is greater than 50%, then unless I'm gaming or rendering, it should all sound like a whisper.

I own 2 of these power supplies. One is over a year old now in my high-end gaming rig which replaced a CX750M (which had some issues). No problems. Quiet operation and they handle everything I throw at them (dual high-end video cards, hard drive arrays, etc.). The other runs 24/7 in my workstation rig. Modular cabling is nice, and plenty of it. Nice packaging.

I’ve been looking for this PSU for a while on Corsair manufacture’s website, I was lucky to stumble on this restock from BestBuy. Super quick shipping and being able to buy this at retail was a win. I’m so happy with the quality from Corsair, and unbeatable price. I would definitely buy again.

Lots of power! Great price from Bestbuy too! I couldn't find it anywhere, not even on popular stores, and found it on Bestbuy at a great price! The shipping was okay, because it took a little bit than expected. Otherwise, this power supply is performing great!

Definitely overkill for my build, but I wanted something where I could stay in the the area of efficiency where the fan doesn't do much if it turns on at all. As much as we try to stay on top of it, this house is very dusty and the idea was to have this PSU last through a few iterations of upgrades.

It’s hard to come across a power supply these days in the 650-850range. That’s what I originally wanted then ended up going with this powerhouse since it was the only one available from Corsair. You’re not doing any harm by getting more Watts than you need. And it’s fully modular so easy install.

Aside from no real way to test this if something ELSE is wrong when you build a PC, its an perfect and well built Power Supply! The cords/cables on this model are thicker and round, you might want to go with the 1200xi... If you need to “test” this you cant do the paper clip test as ALL wires are black, just fyi..

This power supply has so manny connections that you can build what seems to be a super computer without lagging in power what so ever! Being modular it is also great for any type of build you throw its way.

Corsair PSU s have never let me down! This one is for those power hungry PCs. With this 1000 watt PSU you will never worry about not having enough but more likely think: what can I throw at this!

Works great for my custom build gaming pc. Had to upgrade when I installed a rtx 3090. Power supply comes with all the cords that most people will need for install. Very good price from BestBuy as well.
