Great keyboard ! PROS It is the quietest and smoothest I have experienced. But I am NOT a gamer. CONS (-1 star) Really wouldn't take a whole star off but... It uses a sophisticated bios for the advanced capabilities of the keyboard and this rendered my aging KVM switch inoperable with this keyboard. Most people do NOT use a KVM and I was able to switch from a KVM to a USB switch for my mouse and keyboard but that cost me a few more $$$.

I originally was just going to get the single color Corsair keyboard; but the silent keys and RGB option on this one sold me. Keys are very tactile, I swapped out my WASD keys for the "gaming appropriate" textured keys with no impact to typing speed. Sound level is reasonably bearable for a mechanical keyboard; its definitely not a typewriter. I LOVE the RGB color capability. This keyboard will support 16.4 million colors, and you can create your own illumination patterns or download ones from Corsair (someone made a lighting scheme that plays tetris!!) Overall, this is a fantastic keyboard, I strongly recommend it.

This keyboard is awesome. The software to control it was confusing. There are several example videos on youtube, just search for them. Once you get past the settings vs profile thing, it's pretty easy to set up different visual effects for each application. The back light is bright enough that it is easily usable in the dark. I had returned 2 other keyboards because they werent bright enough to use in the dark. This one does NOT have that problem. It is easy to view, and the color combinations you can set up are nearly endless. The keyboard is heavy, and does not slide around the desk when using it. It is sturdy and well made.

I bought this to replace an older keyboard that had a backlight which couldn't be programmed. Not really my style for the moving lights but it is interesting to watch. I enjoy being able to program the F keys to different steady colors, and every other key too. If you type in a darkened room when you work like I do, it looks cool too (can never forget the "cool" factor....). The response from the keyboard is very good and you dont have to pound on the keys! The reach and size of the keys fit my slightly larger hands just fine. Good gaming response if your a "now and then" gamer like me. Glad I bought it.

Amazing keyboard from Corsair. The Silent keys of this is what I was aiming for so the RGB lights and great feel of typing on these keys are just bonuses for the price.

So the RGB is kind of hilarious. I set it to rainbow and just let it do its thing, or I have it react to my CPU/GPU temps when I try to be practicaly. iCue software is good enough. Went full in with corsair basically, rocking a Void Pro headset, mouse, and keyboard. This keyboard is actually really nice for typing papers. As an adult student, I don't like keeping my wife up at night with really loud typing. Fortunately, this subdues it enough to where she isn't losing her mind! It still makes a noise, to be sure, but much better than your average keyboard.

This is a great keyboard. Very sturdy and I can now type in the dark. To be honest... I need to get used to the keys. I've always used a logitec and it just feels different. Not bad, just different. It's not very loud as well. Much softer clicky than most mechanical keyboards

This keyboard is an absolute breeze to type on. The MX Silent Switches are perfectly appropriate for an office environment, and the RGB is quite the spectacle

I love all the customizing you can do on this keyboard. If you wanted to set a color for every individual key you could. Awesome keyboard and the keys feel great.

PC is in the bedroom. If I had purchased a reg mech I think my wife would have flipped. This one being silent is not totally silent like an average keyboard, but its a mechanical, its going to make noise. I haven't had any issues with it or the CUE software. Just switched to all Corsair peripherals and I can't complain at all. I love being able to control the lighting per key so that I have highlight important keys in a different color. Also dig the FPS keys they include for the WASD keys. They have ridges to keep your fingers on the keys and don't really interfere with typing.

I’ve owned exclusively Corsair keyboards for years. They are built to last, this one is quiet, and the RGB combinations are completely customizable.

Even the price being rather high for keyboards like it it's fantastic. The backlighting is good and the keys are good, good feeling and weight. It's a good keyboard.

Replaced an ASUS System Keyboard with this. A really nice mechanical keyboard. Takes 2 USB plugs for the lighted keys. Really enjoy having the highlighted gaming keys. Makes Star Wars Battlefront more enjoyable.

Typing in this keyboard is a pleasure, the RGB lighting is an extra. It is built to last. A little on the pricey side but hopefully it will last for many years.

I have enjoyed this keyboard. I enjoy changing the theme of the rgb to suit my mood that day.

This keyboard is as quiet, if not quieter in use than any membrane (non-mechanical) keyboard I've ever used. And I've used the silent Razer and Logitech high end KB's as well. Additionally, the software for Corsair is easier to use and adjust than either the Logi or Razer softwares were. If you are looking for the responsiveness and tactile qualities of a mechanical keyboard but are worried about the click-clack, put your worries aside. This is the keyboard for you.

Keyboard is nice and silent. Feels nice. Like that there's texture on the space bar and the interchangeable gamer keys. Full customization with Corsair CUE. The keyboard does seem to flicker occasionally, like in slow gradient modes. Still has nice sound but not obnoxious.

Purchased as a gift for my husband. He loves it, says he fat fingered the windows key but was able to disable it - he went from a very large key format to this keyboard and said the keys are a little smaller in size but he wouldn't change anything about it.

I like the custom lighting on it. The brightness is nice. Drawbacks: Too expensive for basically a standard kb with lights. No real other functions besides the lights. Also the motherboard doesn't like the kb at start ups. Giving no kb code because takes the kb to load at start.

I had the Razer black widow 2014, and this keyboard is an amazing upgrade! So quiet and the ease of use with the software is phenomenal.
