Excellent quality keyboard and noise cancelling effects while still getting the benefits of the mechanical keyboard is a pure plus. Software is intuitive and effective for aesthetic options.

Great keyboard, sturdy build quality. The switches are similar to Cherry MX reds, with a linear actuators, but quieter. The sound is quieter than membrane (rubber) switch keyboards. They're not really "silent", you can definitely hear someone typing on them while in the same room. A better word would be "discrete", in that they let my wife sleep while I game late at night, sitting several feet away from our bed. Other than that, this is an excellent mechanical keyboard, with lots of cool RGB presets and fully configurable. In order to take advantage this you need to download Corsair's desktop app, so keep that in mind.

No mechanical keyboard will ever really be silent, but this one gets probably as close as you can to silent while still keeping the mechanical keyboard feel.

I've had this for about a month now, and I have to say it's a big improvement over my previous keyboard that had MX reds. The corsair control utility is super easy to use as well.

I absolutely LOVE this keyboard! The amount of RBG customization options there are is ridiculous! You could also download RBG profiles. The keys are absolutely nice and smooth.

I love this keyboard. You can configure the lights in different scenarios. Comes with several pop off buttons to replace. Works great with my laptop & desktop. Love it!

Keys are nice and smooth and a lot quieter than regular switches. Definitely worth the price for what you get and its fun to play around with different colors.

Looking for a gaming keyboard that is super responsive and yet silent? This Corsair model is excellent. Great build quality as well. The custom key color options are endless!

I won't say this is THE best mechanical keyboard available. Additionally, I won't say this is THE best keyboard with LED lighting. But, if you want the best keyboard with BOTH mechanical keys AND multi-color LED lighting, this could be exactly what you want/need. While the keys aren't truly "quiet", they are quiet enough that they won't bother someone else in the next room over. My best suggestion is this: If you're looking for a really good mechanical gaming keyboard, and you feel the need to have RGB LEDs, then buy this keyboard, spend a couple weeks with it, and, if you don't like it, return it...but I'm guessing you will keep it.

This keyboard is great. I use it for gaming and typing. Great responsiveness. Awesome light effects, which you can control with software using your computer.

Corsair has done it again! They have given gamers the best of both worlds with a mechanical gaming keyboard that is also much quieter than previous generation versions. It is perfect for gaming by allowing for precise, short keystrokes. The backlit keys are incredible and allows for the keys to be seen in a dark room. Both brightness and actual color of each key can be controlled through the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) software. This keyboard also is great for just everyday use when surfing the internet or doing college homework. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who needs a multi-purpose keyboard.

The Corsair keyboard has a great touch, a nice weight to it, and came at a great price. I'm not a gamer, but this keyboard none the less enhances my "computer experience".

This keyboard is fun for gaming and has alot of fun lights and options. It's comfortable, customizable. Only downfall is that it's hard to clean.

I loved the MX Silent switches and the feel of the keyboard. Was almost, in gamer bliss .... Then I loaded the CUE software, I don't want software that has a horrific learning curve. Could not get it to just have sold lights of different colors, I am sure if I worked at it, I could have. However I don't want to spend hours leaning software to light up a keyboard. Corsair must have heard these complaints for years, I ended up .skill returning it. I was going to go with the straight red leds but no wrist rest. Until Corsair overhauls their CUE software, I can not recommend any, of their RGB keyboards, Great keyboard ruined by software.

Love it, I got the tactile feel of a mechanical keyboard, with a fraction of the noise. very nice to be able to get colors, and lighting efects the way I wanted.
