I personally wanted a mechanical keyboard without the noise. The Corsair Strafe RGB was perfect since it was a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Silent switches. These switches aren’t exactly silent but the noise audible from them is much quieter than other mechanical switches. The Cherry MX Silent switches are linear which I am personally used to. The RGB lightening effects were a plus as well. Corsair has very user- friendly software. The software can be downloaded online and allows for some pretty cool lighting features. The USB pass through at the back of the keyboard is amazing in my opinion. You do have to plug in two USBs if you want to use the pass through. So in the end, it doesn’t give you an additional USB slot but it just relocates the USB slot which I think is perfect for gamers. My only con about this keyboard is the plastic build. It isn’t much of an issue though because it still feels premium.

This keyboard is a little more quiet than other mechanical keyboards and is exactly what I was looking for! Plenty of fun colors to set it to also.

This is my second mechanical keyboard I've owned. Hands down this is the most sleek and comfortable of them. It's also very customizable. Only downside is using the Corsair software. The Red silent switches feel great without sounding obnoxious, or just wanting to be incognito. The keyboard comes on sale every once in a while below the $100 Mark.

Love this keyboard, color profiles are awesome, can set them up anyway you can think of, and best of all IT IS SILENT, NO CLICKY CLICKY CLICKY

I bought this keyboard when it was on sale for $90. It's an excellent mechanical keyboard, and for being mechanical it is pretty quiet. Each key has its own lighting that can be programmed, and you can go to Corsair's website to download profiles already made and uploaded by others. Very well made and if you can catch it on sale, it's a great buy

Not the best keyboard on the market but between the quality and decent price tag you can't ask for much more. Very sturdy and ergonomic. The power setup on this keyboard is a little weird in my opinion but overall it's a very comfortable keyboard with pretty lights and is very responsive. What else do you really need?

This is the first mechanical keyboard that I have ever bought. It feels great and it brought my game to the next level.

With a new barrage of LED gaming boards hitting the market recently, the Corsair Strafe RGB with it's silent red's really excels!

If you're looking for a solid mechanical keyboard that fits into your budget- this is it. The RGB backlighting I phenomenal and brilliant. Although the Strafe is made up of a plastic chassis as opposed to a meta one on the K65 or K70, it feels extremely sturdy and well produced. Would easily recommend this over the blackwidow chroma.

I've been needing a new keyboard for quite some time now and have had my eye on the Corsair Strafe mostly because of the lights, but once I got it and found out that you can do macro's on it and stuff like that, it just got better. Best Buy had it on sale for $89.95 and then had a deal that if you recycle an old keyboard, they'll give you a 15% off certificate that can be used on another keyboard. I used that and then had a $5 rewards certificate and ended up getting a $150 keyboard for a little more than half price. Thanks Best Buy! Onto the keyboard. It has mechanical switches (first time for me) and they click a bit more than my last keyboard (backlit Logitech one that was nice but not as cool as this one. You get used to them quickly though because they are precise and have a solid touch to them. If you're in the market for a gaming keyboard that does multiple lighting programs (and you can make your own too) and also one that you can program your own macros (program a key to do the job of a sequence of keystrokes), then this is worth a look.

I had a cheapo keyboard before and bought this because I needed something silent. This keyboard is very quiet. I was showing my wife how the keyboard worked and she didn't think I was typing on the keys. It's well built and feels incredibly quality. And the RGB is just a lot of fun. I would buy this again in a heart beat.

This keyboard is PRO! It has a killer feel to it when I type and its super great for all my gaming keys. The color options are fantastic as well. I've been using another popular gaming keyoboard for years but if Corsair keeps making keyboards like these I will be using Corsair for my gaming keyboards from now on!

This is a really great keyboard. I generally like egranomic keyboards, but this totally exceeded my expectations l. The keys feel really nice to the touch. It also has several different light up cycles, in addition very functional when playing pc games. The keys can be programmed for pc games.

One of the most comfortable keyboards I've messed with, the MX Silents are wonderful and the over all feel is great.

I am very particular about the sound my keys make when i game. i love the cherry mx red but they were still too loud for my liking. with this keyboard the switches feel incredible and the sound is the best imo. the rgb is just a bonus but a great bonus indeed. the usb pass through is awesome also.

This was my first mechanical keyboard and I was concerned with how much noise it would make as I get plenty of feedback through my headset while on the computer. However I was impressed with the feel and the sound quality of his keyboard and the RGB lights are a cherry on top of this excellent device.

Bought this for my son, says, its extremely easy to use and quite, loves changing the colors to his preference.

Love the keyboard. Not a gamer, but wanted a long lasting keyboard, so this is what I picked up. The lights are amusing, and can be turned off. The key strokes are great. Solid; not silent, but reasonably quiet. The USB port on the keyboard is handy, too.

With the back lighting and fast reaction to input this keyboard is the best I've ever owned.

This keyboard has all the possible back ground colors you could ever need. The board is red until the system boots then switches to your pattern / color set you chose. Its texture and replaceable gaming keys are a very nice touch. It can link the color sets to Corsair headphone and mice.
