Our son purchased other keyboards before getting this one, and they either stopped illuminating, or the buttons popped off. He researched another one, and decided on this one. He loves it. The key clicks are not too loud. The color choices are amazing, and it takes his abusive gaming too!

This was my first mechanical keyboard and it took about a week to get used to how hard I needed to press the keys. After getting used to it, I enjoy using it for RTS gaming and web browsing. The back lit key colors actually help a lot more than I thought working in a dim room.

The strafe RGB Silent is a well made, sturdy keyboard in the K70 lineup. I bought the one with red switches to start, but found that I needed something a little quieter since I share a space with a sleeping child. The black switches were just the ticket. The software lets you set the keys to a bazillion combinations, and honestly it was overwhelming with the possibilities. Highly recommend this mechanical keyboard if you want quality.

This keyboard is awesome. I love the lighting effects, the preinstalled lighting are pretty good but you can make your own and even publish it for others to use and vice-versa. Easy to clean but it can be quite annoying to do so since it gets dirty easily.

Basically thought I'm impressed with the build quality and feel of this keyboard. It feels like a beast and has a 2 year Corsair warranty. Somehow the keys seem raised up a little from the body, which I didn't have an opinion about previously, but have come to love.

My son seems to be pleased with the quality of this keyboard for gaming.

Good functioning mech keyboard. Links up nicely with all of my other Corsair RGB items. Good mechanical feel but not too loud. Still has a satisfying click and button feel. Would recommend, especially when on sale. Was $50 off when I purchased.

This keyboard is great for gaming purposes. The background lighting is not too bright so nighttime gaming is still a great experience. The keyboard is not loud and it feels great to type on. Extremely customizable and easy to use software. Worth every penny.

The feel of the keys is great. The lights are awesome. My girlfriend really appreciates how much quieter this is than my previous mechanical keyboard which has cherry Mx brown switches. My only real complain is that it's missing the volume control dial that I'd gotten ilused to from the Logitech 710. Also, there's a very faint high pitched noise when the lights are active. It's barely audible to me, but I'm 35, so might be more noticeable to younger people. I've contacted Corsair and they'll ship a replacement, but I have to ship this one out to them first, so I'd be without a keyboard for a while. Not sure if I'll be going through the trouble.

Just as good as the higher end corsair keyboards I think and way less.

The keys felt similar to traditional cherry mx reds, but slightly different. It wasn't a bad-different, but just took some time getting used to. Build quality was still solid but I wish it had the brushed aluminum instead of plastic.

I had been researching gaming/RGB keyboards over last several months since I rebuilt my PC, but had been reluctant to make a jump on any one keyboard due to price. When I saw this one on sale for $50 off, I immediately pounced on it. I don't regret it at all. The keyboard is excellent and I love the silent Cherry MX switches, and I'm glad that I choose the silent version. They are quiet and have just enough clicking sound feedback. I don't think I would've liked the normal Cherry MX switches db levels. Anyway, the RGB LED lighting is awesome and fun. I've only made just a few templates for myself, as it can take quite a bit of time to configure something elaborate. There are some really cool templates you can download online. I suggest watching as many YouTube videos on how to use the Cue software, as the learning curve is a bit steep.

Best keyboard I ever used, several of my friends will be purchasing it.

This would be my first mechanical keyboard. Although it definitely takes some time to get used to typing with the mx cherry reds, it is so nice and responsive in games that I'll never go back to membrane style keys. The linear response of the keys and the quiet nature of the silent series reds are really the best you can get for FPS gaming and MOBA. Very fast response time 1000Hz plus the added feature of the extra USB port on the top part of the keyboard is a very nice and welcomed addition for any other peripherals, I have my turtle beach Z300 wireless headset plugged into it and no issues . The RGB functions beautifully as well, and is very very customizable via their app. Truly a win if you're shopping for a decently priced mechanical keyboard with the best gaming keys, you found it, buy it.

This keyboard is the best one I've spent money on yet. Really brings together an RGB gaming set and gives phenomenal costume settings that allows for millions of ways to match it with all other corsair products.

The corsair strafe keyboard is great in many ways. Firstly, it is absolutely amazing looking with lights off and the rgb lights on. I also own a corsair m65 mouse and the rgb lighting with the Cue+ lighting software looks great. Secondly the keystrokes what you would expect from most mechanical keyboards except with a very quiet click, I'm not a mechanical keyboard expert but I enjoy typing on the strafe very much. Thirdly, the USB pass through is a great feature to have. Unlike the k70s the strafe line of keyboards have a usb pass through that allow you to connect any usb device to the keyboard and still access the files on your pc. In conclusion, this keyboard is very well made and I love it. Its Mx silent switchs paired with the leds make it a very enjoyable typing experience.

The Cherry MX silent keys live up to their reputation as being durable and have a nice tactile feel. The ability to create custom profiles for the backlit keys is perfect for creating custom effects for each game or your mood.

I was looking for a mechanical keyboard for gaming and everyday use. This one fits the bill and I love the RGB colors. The silent keys are great and don't keep anyone else in my house awake when using at night time.

If you are a serious gamer, than look no further than the Corsair Strafe Silent. It is excellent for movement from forward to back and strafing from side to side. it is very responsive keyboard and puts me ahead of the game. however, make sure you are not looking for a mechanical keyboard as this model is silent. I cant say enough about this product.
