Good, but sadly not great

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I'm gonna start this off by saying that I have not done any stress testing or heavy usage on this YET, and I'm still waiting on a gpu so that I can put this thing to use. So far the memory has run stable and cool. I did glance at overclocking options under Xmp in the Uefi/Bios and didn't see any options to boost the clock speeds. With the voltage regulation on the dimm itself for ddr5, though, I might have to use cosair's software for that so I will look into it. Being an early adopter of ddr5 does come at a high cost and unfortunately ddr5 just doesn't live up to that hype yet. Latency is higher than ddr4 and the extra clock just doesn't provide a noticeable improvement. Overall, I rate the item itself well, but I would recommend waiting another few months at the bare minimum before considering purchasing ddr5 memory. Better, more practical options are bound to come out for a more fair price.

Fantastic choice for price

I had mine delivered to my apartment was able to just plug them right in a boot up the computer. Didn’t need to do anything special runs great, no computer errors, or memory lag. 10/10 would recommend for heavy users.

Corrupted my windows

HOWEVER, what is not fine is that the box is labeled “XMP COMPATIBLE”. DO NOT ENABLE XMP WITH THIS RAM. After enabling XMP It completely corrupted my windows and I had to start from scratch, wipe my boot drive and start over. This ram is in no way stable past the numbers on the box, and I would not recommend buying DDR5 at 4800 speeds either
