    These sticks get pretty hot, and consequently raise the temperature of the motherboard area where they are. Not a huge deal, and so far hasn't affected performance. Overall I highly recommend this brand. Very fast, reliable, and affordable.

    I did have a matching problem with the original other brand 16GB that came in my IBUYPOWER computer. I wanted to make it 48GB, but the computer would not boot with the old and new installed. Good news is, I bought a second 32GB kit, and now have maxed out 64GB installed and running! I'm pretty sure 32GB would have been enough for my purposes, but why not just go BIG??!!

    Replaced the stock 32 GB memory on my Alienware Area 51 Threadripper R3 with 64 GB of this (due to a hardware error that started popping up with the old memory), and so far, so good. Although I'm currently only running it at its native 2133 mhz clock speed (I'm not a gamer), I've also been able to run it at the 3200 mhz overclock speed with no issues.

    These are great sticks, I have no issue with them directly - this is more of a problem on my end. I didn't do my full research before purchasing. Apparently my Ryzen system can't run these at the full 3200 speed - it flips it's biscuit when I try 3200. 3000? No problem at all. For the price, I'm fully okay with running these at 3000 vs 3200 as I was looking for memory capacity rather than maximum performance, anyway (and I came off a 16 gig 3000 kit). Also, given the fact these are "standard" RAM sticks sans flashy and huge heat spreaders was an added bonus for me.

    I went from 8gb to 32gb , and it does exactly what i need it to and more. I dont run insanely intensive video games. I work from home via vmware on one screen and watch twitch on the other. I was running 100% with the 8gb , now im barely using 30% capacity. So far so good. My minimal build is an i5 6600k this memory and an r9 390.
