After 1 month of ownership, it plays games great at 1440p and with slipstream technology to connect my 3 Corsair devices, I don’t have to worry about wires. Its perfect for on the go! Tends to overheat but nothing a 30$ cooling laptop stand couldn’t fix. Only con I see was it only has 1 USB-a port and in order to connect all devices to the laptop I needed a usb extension as you have to connect all devices at once.

For Corsairs 1st gen laptop, this is an incredible laptop! Although it is a bit more expensive compared to other options, I feel it’s been 100% worth it so far. It’s not perfect, but no laptop is. Personally like the all metal chassis (NO PLASTIC) - the hinges are VERY sturdy, the display is gorgeous , 244Hz, and AMD graphics perform really well on all games I’ve played so far! Very impressed. Stream deck bar is cool, and hope it continues to evolve to something more! Def very useful for streaming! Mechanical keyboard is prob the best laptop keyboard I’ve used yet. Great stuff!

Not quite ready for prime time with games

I bought the Corsair Voyager (CV) several days before X-mas and expected to enjoy using it while on holiday. However, I ended up spending more time and energy troubleshooting the driver AMD issues. I was forced to downgrade the AMD driver in order to maintain stability however, I was still not able to play the games that I wanted at all. In addition, I also got AMD driver time out message. This was unacceptable for a premium laptop to not be able to run games. After X-mas, I had enough and got another laptop and ran into no issues like I did with CV. I really wanted to keep CV but the AMD driver issues were getting too much to tolerate. Later on, I've discovered via Corsair's own forums that other CV owners were running into similar issues and discovered how the solution was to use the AMD drivers from Corsairs' own website. But those drivers either beta or out-dated. It didn't make any sense to not be able to use AMD's own drivers from their website in order to maximize the graphic card's potential. Per Corsair's rep, this was an ongoing matter and they were still working on optimizing the update process.
So, this experience summed up to the title "Not quite ready for prime time with games.”
Pro: 1. unique hardware form factor and solid build. 2. Interesting use of the stream deck hotkeys. 3. Wide customizable touch pad.
Con: 1. Issue with loading up the latest AMD drivers from AMD's website. 2. While idling, the fan would run really, really loud. This is probably due to its smaller form factor.

Excellent and nice design with 2 TB of memory but the screen stopped working... the screen went black. It only turned on the keyboard lights. I only used it for 1 month.

Running Linux this thing works like a dream. Very quiet, performative, largely stable, and requiring few to no modifications to standard, up to date software for it to function smoothly.
Windows is a bit of a different story, crashing fairly often and clearly being on the unstable side of things. I do keep a partition with it and use it occasionally for a few things, but 95% of the time I'm in Linux and it works great. Not to mention the high refresh rate looks fantastic.
So ironically I would recommend this pc to coders, Linux enthusiasts (I run Gentoo btw), people who like tinkering and don't mind having to troubleshoot occasionally; rather than gamers who are interested in the best out of the box experience, because it still feels rough around the edges.

I only had this for a day or two before the battery stopped charging. I could still play plugged in and it looks great and is fast. But I am exchanging it for another one right now so we will see how the next one turns out.

It has been like a dream and a nightmare, the machine is well built, it’s very fast when it works. The problem with this computer it’s the updates, if you have no time or knowledge of settings and updates. Get away from this computer.

For the price of this machine the resolution is bad, the graphics don’t stand up and it is incredibly loud and runs hot. That said it is fast and looks fantastic.
I use this machine for mostly work and some gaming on trips.

The good: Hardware is descend. QHD screen, cherry mx keyboard, good thermal system everything work as expected.
The bad: This system has bugs when laptop freeze for like 30 to 60 seconds when computer wake up from sleep. I can reproduce it consistently. My current unit is replacement unit from Bestbuy. The first unit also have same issues. This bugs can reproduce consistently and I have own this laptop for 7 months now. Corsair software update doesn't just fix that. It is very annoying and it is quite shameless of corsair for ignore such major issues.
The ugly: Support take few day to reply. Customer support is pretty much doesn't exist.

Corsair customer service is the worst I've ever experienced and don't recommend anything from them. They offer zero phone support unless its sales and their technical support is terrible and slow.
Screen quit working after only a couple months. I opened a case with Corsair a week ago and they have literally tried nothing to help.
When its plugged in to a monitor, it regularly fails to power it on so I have to unplug and plug the data cable back in to get it to work.

Great computer with everything you need for gaming. Once I updated all of the drivers and software gremlins that plagued this computer. Reviews were not good when it came out. CORSAIR fixed the issues and now it is a great computer. I would definitely buy another one. Hoping they build more and with a bigger monitor would be a huge benefit for everyone. Enjoy the review and thanks for reading...

The build quality and feature set is pretty much absolutely top of his class, and it feels like a great laptop. But the truth is that Coursera is an experience enough of a manufacturer to make their hardware work perfectly in sync with windows.. this has caused a lot of issues for me. Right now I’m contemplating turning it in because while the machine powers on the display does not, and I’ve only had this machine for about four months.
