Like most people, I don't normally read instructions. But when I bought this machine knowing very little about dehydrating foods I figured I should review the manual carefully. So I did. My first project was the bacon that's in the recipe book provided, which turned out amazing, though it took twice the time stated on the recipe. My friends still rave about the bacon and ask when I'm going to make more. The machine comes with special racks/trays for the specific foods you'll be dehydrating. A fruit roll sheet and a mesh screen for foods that shrink when dehydrating. There is no bacon grease capture tray. Being a total newbie, it didn't even occur to me that there was grease that needed to be captured from the bacon. I guess I figured it just vaporized or something. No mention of it in the user manual either. After dehydrating my bacon I noticed the layer of grease on the bottom of the machine. I wiped it out with a paper towel and cleaned it with a mild cleanser, but the grease had gotten into the seams and the grate in the back. There was no way to get it out. I tried taking the machine apart just enough to reach these impossible areas but no luck. As I did that I noticed that the grease had leaked to the outside of the machine and pooled in the feet of the machine. There was bacon grease everywhere, it was awful. So I contacted Cosori and told them what happened. Basically it was user error, which I agree to partly, but there really should be some information on how to capture the grease. Do you use a piece of foil? Use the fruit roll sheet? I guess it doesn't matter but use something! Otherwise your machine will turn out like mine with bacon grease in all the crevices. Cosori said they normally wouldn't replace machines based off user error but they did in my case. My new machine arrived in about 2 weeks and they said to keep the old one for parts. I'm really impressed with the customer service at Cosori. They responded in a timely manner and fixed my issue with only a few questions asked. They made it simple and I'm back to making more bacon. This time I put the fruit roll sheet under the bacon to capture any grease. They didn't ever answer my question regarding the protocol to capture grease or why the machine doesn't come with a grease capture sheet. So my recommendation to you is just put something down if you dehydrate meat or anything greasy. The machine works great, looks great and the customer service is great. I give them 5 stars since customer service is at the top of my list when I'm working with a company.

I got a knack to learn how to make beef jerky, i shopped around online and watched countless youtube reviews and comparisons. This dehydrator was middle of the road between too expensive for a hobby and too cheap to really get things going. It has been 1 month and im already on my 4th batch of jerky. I do intend on trting fruit leather soon. This machine is very simple and easy to clean. A quick wile down with water and light soap gets this machine looking spiffy again.

Works well and does a great job in dehydrating meats and fruit . Would recommend and the volume you can do is surprising. Great purchase. Photo is Top round from butcher and made treats for the dog .

It is time to get the garden put up and so I bought this unit to be used to dehydrate apples off the tree, tomatoes, etc. I already had a dehydrator but needed another one. This is a wonderful machine and is very quiet you don't even know it is on. Unlike my other dehydrator. The instructions to set the time and temp are easy to follow and program. The materials are top notch and really like the stainless steel grid trays on this machine. I was looking at another dehydrator that was suppose to be top of the line quality but it does not come close to this unit. It is easy to load and unload your food from the unit. Plus, it is not very heavy and has convent indention on teach side for easy carrying from one place to another. So far, I have put it through it's paces and it performs beautifully. You can't go wrong with this unit. The other one that was suppose to be the top of the line dehydrator does not even come close to this unit. Keep up the great design and functions Cosori, in my book your the top of the line dehydrator.

I love this dehydrator. I upgrade from one of the old circular ones with the plastic treys. Those older ones always left my foods tough and too dry. Not with this Cosori. I love the way this thing dehydrates so many items consistently. The 6 trays are plenty of space for all my needs. I have made dried fruits, jerkey, camp meals, etc. The one item I tried that surprised me was salmon jerkey. I never had it before but made some with this dehydrator. Salmon jerky is my new favorite, give it a try after buying this.

When I opened the package I thought that the unit was very light weight and probably wouldn't last long. I was wrong! It has performed as advertised. Fan is reasonably quiet and the cabinet does not get excessively hot even during extended drying cycles. I dehydrated a bountiful crop of assorted peppers from the garden and it performed flawlessly. I did learn to slice the peppers into very thin strips to hasten the process, but too thin and the pieces fell through to a lower rack on occasion.

My Cosori Premium Stainless Steel Food Dehydrator is a wonderful piece of equipment. It arrived earlier than expected and was very well packaged. This one from Best Buy is a better deal than the Cosori website because it comes with more plastic trays. I read the instructions, washed all the necessary parts and put it right to work. It works very well, it very quiet and has just the right amount of trays for my family's needs. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to dehydrate but who is not planning for the end of the world.

I previously made chicken jerky for our dogsin the oven. This is way better. Easier cleanup , less electricity.,quicker. Now my oven isn't monopolized by jerky all day. It is quiet and holds alot. Highly recommend

Great machine. So far its done an amazing job at drying herbs, mushrooms, meats and even tried a fruit leather. So far its worked flawless, its not too loud and the extra trays are nice. Plus its all stainless! (Its basically a knock off Excalibur unit for alot less)

Ive never used a dehydrator or anything to dehydrate anything but with this being my first one, i love it! We use it for jerky and theres no rotating required which is what i wanted. Cooks nice and even!

I love the size of this dehydrator. It fits on my countertop and allows quick and easy access. It works great!

Looked on-line for reviews and feedback on dehydrators. The Cosori brand was highly rated. I followed all instructions (easy to understand and follow) and have made beef jerky and fruit! Love this gadget. It does take up some counter real estate, but the end product makes it worth it!

My Cosori works great. It’s very easy to use. Perfect for beginners and pro’s . The best thing about it other than efficiency is it is not noisy at all .

This dehydrator is great. I looked at a bigger one but decided this would fit my needs. It us very quiet and simple to use. Well worth the money.

Works well for drying hot peppers. Only complaint is wishing the 3 ft power cord was a little longer.

It was a good product the jerky i made came out great, and the book it came with had some good looking recipes.

This is a great dehydrator. Size is perfect for my space, the stainless steel trays are easy to clean and convenient to use and everything fits nicely inside. It dehydrates fairly evenly - I haven't noticed significant differences in drying on the trays. And it is wonderfully quiet.

This has been a great addition to our kitchen! We love beef jerkey and this has made it so easy to make. We've already tried 4 recipes and have even dehydrated fruit with it. It's been great and has saved us money in comparison to what jersey costs at the store. The trays are very easy to clean and the operation is simple, as the instructions are easy to understand. I highly recommend it.
