    I used to use a deep pot Which was hard to scoop out of and made a mess. Love the fryer, less mess, temp setting and big basket. Easy to use. I love it.

    The fryer died at 71 days. :-( - Now out of return period. The timer broke and will not allow the cooker to heat up.
