This should not have worked as a legitimate movie. Maybe as a phony preview on Tarantino's Grindhouse double feature. But they went ahead and made it, got Ford and Craig to chew up the scenery and a number of great supporting actors to flesh out the movie. And, then there is Oliva Wilde. I would watch her read the Yellow Pages. The movie does not rush getting to the 'good stuff'. Takes the time needed to introduce the characters. This actually could have just gone on to be a pretty good Western. Where the plot thins is that none of these late 1800's people seem to be all that amazed by the aliens and their technology. That aside, pretty good fun. Classic use of the enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend concept as cowboys, Indians, townspeople, criminals, cattlemen, all join forces. And don't forget Olivia Wilde. As for the bluray, a very good transfer. Video is terrific, as is the sound. If you have a decent sound system, especially a good subwoofer, this one really takes off.

Kind of weird and yet intriguing. Fun and exciting to watch.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this. The ending is off the wall but that's not always bad. It kept my attention for sure. Love the actors too.

It puts a new Twist on Cowboys and Indians it is very entertaining we had people from the age of 19 to 63 watching and we all enjoyed it.

all star cast, great sci-fi adventure, plenty of action

Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Olivia Wild, and their acting are huge pluses. The ending of the movie brought a lot of the expectations down. Like, times 10. So it evens out on this rating scale. I’d still recommend because who doesn’t like Harrison Ford movies??

i know it is a cool movie because i saw it many years ago. Havent rewatched yet so not sure how the years have changed my tastes...

The bul ray makes this movie far more enjoyable than the old DVD version. Sharp and crisp image, great sound. Great movie.

In my opinion this is a very underrated movie. It’s great for what it is. You need to suspend disbelief for a few hours.
