Always loved crackdown. Also came with a beautiful hard case.

Purchased the 1st crackdown day of release and was blown away. Superhero GTA while searching for random orbs was awesome. Fast forward to 2019 and pre-ordered this thinking not only was there going to be explosions but building were going to crumble down....until I read the reviews which are pretty much correct. There was so much more potential this game could have had and I'm sad after just 3-4 days, 4-5 hours a day with 110 hidden orbs and 400 agility orbs found I've completed the game. The driving is just as bad and feels exactly the same from 2007? Come on Microsoft Studios couldn't the driving have been improved some? Its a better polished version of the 1st game with a few cool new weapons but not much else. The NPC's seem to be randomly located even on the top of some buildings that have no entryway to top which is odd. It seems to me the developers never attempted to play any of the new gen games to get a better grasp on how to improve the driving or NPC behavior. GTA 3 liberty City on PS2 had more lifelike characters running around the city. Overall if you can look past the small details in the game and have never played the crackdown series then pick this game up when it drops some in price.

If you played the 1st 2 Crackdown games, you will be happy to know this plays just like those games but with far better graphics. Controls are tight, your agent now has new moves and skills to unlock, as well as your vehicle. Collecting orbs is addicting, and the go at your own pace campaign is nice. Explosions, guns, etc all sound great. The Xbox One X upgrades are awesome as well. The co-op is great, and the multi-player is out of control fun. Another great exclusive, we'll worth the wait.

I loved the original Crackdown and hated Crackdown 2, and this game delivered on what was good about the first game. If you like hunting for agility orbs, blowing stuff up, leaping tall buildings, going after bad guys, and throwing cars around then you'll have fun. The multiplayer is meh, you can play it if you want, it could have been better, but they've made it sort of a seperate game with a full 1,000 GS just for the campaign. The game performs super smooth with no issues and looks freakin amazing on a good HDR display, especially at night when there are so many bright, vibrant neon sign colors that transform the city setting and create a great mood and tone for a futuristic city. The steelbook I received for free with it from Best Buy is great too. I think people expected a little bit more from a game that was in development for so long, but overall it was a fun game that capitalized on what was good from the original. Definitely a must play for any fan of the original Crackdown.

When i first started Crackdown 3 I was a little disappointed. The story is shallow and doesnt ever get deep. With that said, the gameplay is just as addicting as the first 2. Once i started collecting more orbs and leveling up my skills,I just had to keep going. Its a fun experience that you can pick up and play with no time commitment. This game probably wont win any awards but it will surely keep you entertained for 15-20 hours

I loved the original on Xbox 360. The second Crackdown was pretty bad. This third in the series feels more like the original. It is very fun and engaging.

This is three in the series. If you liked 1 and 2. Three is the charm. This is a shooter and no excuses. It starts off running. It is a big open world, if thing get tough move on to another section. The only part I found hard was the antennas. You are constantly gaining strengths and skills. There is a story line, its just enough to make it work. Its a good game.

I finally decide to grab a copy of this game after enjoying it on GamePass for a while. Reviews weren't too kind to this game but as a fan of the original games I'm very happy with. Yeah, it would have been nice to see more progress made over the years from the original 360 games but there's something to be said for jump in and blow stuff gameplay. It's just very fun, classic Crackdown gameplay with much improved visuals. While it doesn't require too much thought to enjoy, you can't just rush in and expect good results all the time. Other than being a sort of short game and a meh multi-player this is definitely worth picking if you need a break from more involved games and well just want to blow stuff up!

I get that this game is getting a bad rap. I for one am a big fan of the series. It's a bit mindless, but if there was a "good way" then this is it. Freedom in a sandbox environment and reckless fun with friends. If this is on sale (I got it for $30) then it's worth investing in.

Ignore the reviews. This game is a total blast to play. The graphics are amazing especially in 4K HDR. If you've played and Loved previous games from before this is a no brainer purchase. Playing as Crews makes it even more fun. The weapons are insane and the orbs are back as well as the announcer guy. BIG FUN.

Seriously, this game is a ton of fun. Unlike the disappointment that was Crackdown 2, this is the true sequel to Crackdown 1. While some have complained about the graphics, Crackdown 3 looks excellent on the Xbox One, particularly on the Xbox One X in native 4K resolution & HDR. When it comes to the city, the way the character moves, the way you interact with things, the way the vehicles transform -- though they transform differently than in Crackdown 1, etc., this is the true successor to Crackdown 1. The movement feels so good, too. Whether you're fighting enemies or climbing a tall building, everything just feels smooth. Crackdown was always a mix of open world Grand Theft Auto mayhem, mixed with a superhero movie, mixed with Mario-style platforming, and that's all on display here. You will level up your agility by collecting the oh so addictive orbs, you will level up strength by picking up objects & throwing them at your enemies, you will level up driving by completing races, by driving stylishly, by using your vehicles to down your foes, etc., and on and on. I disagree wholeheartedly with the negativity surrounding this game. Crackdown 3 is by no means a letdown. If you wanted a prettier version of Crackdown 1 with new abilities, more orbs, better graphics, a good framerate, etc., then look no further than Crackdown 3.

Crackdown has always been fun. if you buy this, you know what you are getting into.

A lot of fun solo...but co-op is so much more insane. With new weapons, abilities, and challenges, the game delivers on guaranteed fun. Orb hunting is addictive as ever. The graphics are great, on Xbox One X, it's breathtaking. Vehicles handle OK, but are a small part of the game so it's not really that important. Another AAA exclusive for Microsoft, and definitely a must have title if you are into all out action and mayhem in an open world.

A decent game for an xbox exclusive, missions are fun yet tedious. Voice acting is good with funny lines thrown in by Terry Crews. Getting to play as him is a total plus. Gun play is fresh and fun. Plenty of ammo so it is hard to run out of bullets. Download code worked perfectly.

A throwback to the platformer days of PS2/Xbox. I love it for that!

This game is pretty fun especially if you liked the other two crack down games. Game play is good but I’ve noticed it’s almost to easy at times but the open world that lets you do pretty much whatever you want makes up for that.

Fun open sandbox game kills for skills, drive for skill and jump for skills. Very similar to the first Crackdown but with more cutscenes, agents and weapons. One objective take out the syndicate!

All the professional reviewers rag on this game, but I have had more fun with this game than I ever had with Red Dead 2. IMO almost all Rockstar games have horrible controls and yet they get great reviews. The controls in Crackdown are some of the best I've ever experienced. Blasting from rooftop to rooftop is incredibly fun! I highly recommend this title.

I managed to complete the game in about 19 hours, defeating all the major enemies and collecting about half of the agility and hidden orbs. I kept having flashbacks of the first 2 games and the last Saints Row game while playing this game, not that that’s a bad thing. Knowing that the voice actress for the main bad guy in this game is the same one that plays Mara Sov in Destiny 2 was a treat. I kept expecting an angry Awoken to come out of nowhere and murder me at every possible turn. Silly, campy fun and an open ended finale that left room for a sequel, I would recommend this game for fans of the franchise. I give it a solid B.

This game is for people that like the first two Crackdown games. I really don't know what else to say. It is the third in the series...Terry Crews out!
