I absolutely love this movie & I can’t believe I was able to get this Blu-Ray DVD for such an amazing price at Best Buy! I also have to give a HUGE compliment to Lawrence at the Best Buy in Vacaville that helped me w/ this purchase & a few others! He was absolutely amazing & phenomenal & he offered me the best service I’ve ever had at a Best Buy ever! You need to keep him & promote him because he’s absolutely amazing & fabulous & he offered me the best customer service experience w/ several items I purchased in this store that night! It’s based on Kevin best selling novel. In the movie, Everything looks so crazed! Rich, no only about Asians but every one. Who didn’t to come rich! At the end, this will make U cry. It all about the friendship, family. I love this movie!

Crazy Rich Asians is just that...crazy and rich! Well played acting, especially from actress/martial arts phenom Michelle Yeoh (no martial arts here!)!

A GREAT LOVE STORY WITH LOTS OF FAMILY COMPLICATIONS.

This is an excellent 4K movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionados. The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy.

Love this movie! Great comedy and romance. Get the tissues for the awesome wedding scene that'll have you crying. One of my FAVORITES! I'll be watching this over and over.

This is my favorite movie of the year. A brilliant modern Cinderella story with rich characters. Fun and very moving at times. The 4K transfer is gorgeous. 10 out of 10

This Movie is 4K Crisp Razor Sharp with some Vivid Colors and Great HDR at Night Times and the Sound is only 5.1 which is the only Downside.

Love the movie! It's a great movie, a good mix of family drama and romcom. If you look at it as a fun snapshot of a fictional family, and a movie that follows the American tradition of romcoms while featuring an all Asian cast (a Hollywood first,) you would know not to take it so seriously. Based on Kevin Kwan’s satirical novel of the same name, “Crazy Rich Asians” is the story of the Chinese-American Rachel Chu, a New York University professor of economics who’s persuaded by her Singapore-born boyfriend, fellow NYU professor Nick Young, to accompany him to his family home in Singapore to attend the wedding of his best friend. What Rachel doesn’t know is that Nick is the scion of Singapore’s wealthiest and most powerful family, and that his best friend’s wedding is Singapore’s social event of the century. Rachel already suspects that Nick will use the occasion to propose to her…but doesn’t expect that in Singapore Nick’s proposal will be an occasion reminiscent of Prince Charming’s fitting the glass slipper to Cinderella’s foot.

This is one of my favorite movies. It captures many of the experiences & perspectives of the Asian American Experience. And it was an amazing introduction to several asian actors who were making their breakthrough movie, along with the director. You can't beat this price for a classic movie.

Seeing the movie makes you want to go see Singapore. Yes, its that awesome. I've been to Singapore a few too many times already, and while I've missed a few areas in prior trips, this next trip I'll be checking off the places shot in this movie... ... Singapore is a foodie's dream destination and the country is amazing, considering its half the size of NYC and still more effective in moving people around than NYC 'L' train.... Go watch the movie, then go visit Singapore.. and fly SIngapore (though the movie's airplane scene was modeled after A380's concept - and closer to Emirates's A380).

I was intrigued when this movie came out but do not go to the theater anymore so I waited for it to come and and was rewarded with a really entertaining movie. It was well acted with a story line that is for all people to take heart no matter what ethnic back round. It has a story that leads you in from the beginning to the end and is a wonderful feel good movie. So Glad I waited and want to watch it a gain. Besides Michelle Yeoh is great in any format she is in and it was enhanced by her portrayal.

Like a lot of people these days, I don't buy a ton of discs, but I enjoyed this movie in the theater and wanted to share w my family. Also wanted to put my Sony 4K player to good test/use. Picture and sound are awesome, and haven't experienced a single glitch in playback. No freeze-ups or lags etc. The digital download option is great for maximum portability/flexibility. Really the only minor complaint is that the extra features (director's commentary, gag reel, deleted scenes) are not on the 4K disc, just the included Blu-ray. Recommend both this movie and this two-disc set w digital version included.

I finally took the plunge and purchase myself a copy of Crazy Rich Asians on 4K after receiving many good reviews about the movie from professional and personal sources. Although it's your typical rich person falls in love with your average person, it's the fact that this is an all asian cast is what makes it different and good at the same time. I'm part asian myself and I would say I can relate to the individuals they portray in this movie. Overall, I would highly recommend this movie!

I was initially unfair to the movie. It received a lot of positive reviews so I had oversized expectations for the film, which was a bit unfair. At the end of the day, it's a conventional, well acted, romantic comedy with solid production values. And there were some genuinely moving moments (i.e. stairway, wedding, Astrid-hubby, mahjongg scenes comes to mind), and a couple hilarious lines/moments. And the wife loved the film, so it's a good date movie. I'm not sure if the transfer used a 4K digital intermediate, but it sure looked like it. It was a sharp, highly detailed transfer with vibrant colors. Sound is a basic 5.1, but adequate for a dialogue heavy movie. I'm a sucker for glorious transfers. Based on the picture quality alone, I'm extremely pleased to have bought it.

I saw this in theaters with another asian friend and we asians loved it! Now im so happy to say i own it! So exciting to see Constance Wu rock the big screen! Besides the much talked about Asian Representation, this is still overall a great romcom. Drama, love, the 2 second break up then get back together cliche (and many other cliches) this movie has it all. I cant wait for the second! Great cast, great story, good job to everyone involved!
