Disclaimer my wife is Asian which put this film on my radar from the beginning. This movie draws you in from the beginning and never lets go. All Star cast with some incredibly funny parts. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed

It is refreshing to see a Romeo and Juliette story portrayed by beautiful, smart Asian actors who are artful in their craft. The storyline is so Asian-American with loads of insider jokes that only Asians to relate to.

Good acting. Plenty of comedy and drama. It's great to see Asian actors in such leading roles instead of the typical side / supporting character roles so commonly seen in films. Brillianty chosen cast that successfully delivers.

Best movie. Great comedy, fashion and crosses cultural lines

This is proof that you don't need high end special effects to enjoy a movie in 4K. The movie upgrades from regular BD is an incredible way, the wedding scene at least is one of the most beautiful things I have seen in HDR.

loved the movie it was funny sad happy exciting wedding scene was beautiful it made Shanghai gorgeous. bachelor party in the middle of the ocean was great bachelorette party on a deserted island was unbelievable gorgeous.

The blu-ray comes with digital version of the film as well. So my BD player can rest while I stream the movie from my Apple TV, or my iPad. I popped up the Blu-ray Disc in my Sony 4K player, the image quality looked decent enough, but not 4K grade, though the player automatically upscaled it to near 4K resolution. $10 is not bad for a fantastic movie like this.

Can’t get enough of this movie! Saw it twice in the theater and now I got an amazing deal from Best Buy on Black Friday and can watch it anytime! Funny, realistic and heartwarming! Such a great film!!

This is one of my favorite movies ever. Great cast, acting and storyline. The wedding scene is so romantic. After seeing this movie I couldn’t wait to read the rest of the books in this Kevin Kwan series

I really loved this movie, a good chick flick. To me it was a typical romance drama in away guy brings girl home for a wedding... she doesn't fit in and everyone is kind out to get her. Over all its a great movie.

I love this movie. It really portrays the movie with different perspectives of Asian cultures here in US and in Asia. The cast was great and looking forward to the next movies in the next couple of years.

The storyline is wonderful. The characters were expertly portrayed. The laughs were full bodied and the heartfelt moments were genuine. Don’t let the title fool you. This is a really sweet romantic comedy.

This movie was so good! I usually don't re-watch movies until later time has passed, but I watched this twice in theaters. A light-hearted romantic comedy. It was great to see ethnic faces on the big screen.

It was delightful to watch a movie that did an accurate portrayal about Asian culture. It was like an Asian Cinderella love story with humor throughout. Awkwafina as Peik was one of my favorite characters.

I went in for his movie thinking it would be alright! I was blown away!! It’s got heart, humor and power! I guarantee you’ll love this film! The characters are amazing and the plot is really well written!

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

I loved this movie! It was hilarious, with an amazing cast! Not only did it make me laugh, but it had a good story line and the scenery was gorgeous. Definitely something I'd watch again and again.
